Terrible, inconsistent performance ruins the experience.

No matter what the settings, performance is wildly inconsistent and even when average frame rates are good, there are very noticeable stutters every ten seconds or so. The game is just about playable but it's far from enjoyable. I loved the original and played through it loads back in the day - I couldn't even finish the third level of the remaster. I can see why they decided to take Epic's exclusivity bribe money now - there's no reason to do that if your product stands of its own accord.

I need a review for the Pillar of Community tasks and so I'm just here to say this is my favourite game of all time.
