Me and my friend both have solid gaming computers, had the game on the lowest settings, and dealt with low FPS, stutters, freezing, invisible characters and load times that are so long we are waiting while the game actually goes past the character select screen, begins and is in progress. It also doesn't help that I have to constantly skip past cutscenes. I've never had an online game perform this poorly. Completely unplayable experience.

I even had the added bonus of a 1 minute and a 3 minute complete freeze of my computer!

Gameplay wise it's...fun at times, when it can actually perform. It's mindless but it's fun. It can be a bit overwhelming and chaotic and there's a lot of visual clutter and the movement feels very sluggish to me. It also doesn't feel very balanced and character skills are very uninspired and some characters just feel so bloated with skills that it becomes a spam fest. Moves also don't feel like they have any impact whatsoever and when ults go off there is so much clutter and noise that you don't even see it happen until it kills you. Can the game be fun though, yes. I love the fact that you can view a highlight video from each of your teammates, that's a really neat feature that I like a lot. The communication wheel in game is very barebones and limited compared to other games in the genre, which is disappointing as I like these kinds of social features quite a lot. I'd also like to see more animations associated with these social actions.

The UI outside of the game is great. The character menu with the illustrations of the characters popping out with the characters looks incredible. The UI as a whole isn't too bad but it really shines when it comes to the main menu.

The store prices are absolutely insane and predatory. Over $15 for a single skin and over $25 for a pack containing a skin and a few minor cosmetics. People complain about other games' prices and this games' are much much worse. Also, $5 for a name change. Seriously?
Let's also talk about the Battle Pass, 4 small pages with the final reward being....a picture? The price for this isn't that bad, though, but it doesn't seem like a worthwhile investment.

If the game was in a more playable state and more balanced I'd consider giving it a recommendation as it can be fun and it does have a good roster of characters. I'll be keeping an eye on this games development but right now I can't recommend it as I just don't have a good time playing it in this state. I truly hope it succeeds.

Cute game.

Pros:
- Hololive
- A lot of charm
- Quick and replayable
- Fun cards
- Each game is randomized and there are a lot of unique battle combinations you can run into
- Awesome girls!!!

Cons:
- No Steam Achievements support despite the game having achievements in-game
- No Fullscreen or any resolution settings at all
- There seems to be no risk in selecting Random Events making it just a skip
- The UI doesn't tell you what the card looks like that you just got rid of in Random Events, I'm always very confused on what card I just got rid of
- Lack of an animation or image or anything is a bit disappointing when choosing to heal

Gameplay is good but it's overpriced, the story mode is barebones and lackluster, the slime mechanic is terrible and shouldn't be a thing and they removed too many characters from the original.

They also have the audacity to charge DLC for higher prices than Smash Bros. with less content. While Smash comes with the character, a stage, music and extra single player content for $5.99 this game charges 6.99 for....a character. And as for the DLC...two more fire nation members in addition to a fire nation member that was already in the base game? Mr. Krabs slaps, though.

Nobody is playing or buying the DLC which isn't a shocker. Hopefully they learn for their next outing, probably not.

The gameplay is better than Multiversus and Smash Bros. but it's still not worth it.

Controls feel great, super fluid and smooth and fast movement. Reminds me of Banjo-Kazooie which is one of my favorites and it does a great job capturing that era.

The speedrun levels are super tough but I think they are fair, it's a very fun challenge for those people who love trying to beat a level as fast as possible, and the levels seem designed in a way where these speedrun challenges can be done in a straightforward way if you figure out the right path, so that's good. I'm a big fan of the speedrun stuff.

Game feels a bit lifeless at time, you'd think at least something would happen once you collect everything in a level but....nothing. First time I beat a level I figured I wasn't done with it as there was no indication I did everything.

It's a cute game, I enjoy it.

A comfy, chill game with non-stop cute girls saying cute things. What more could you want?

It's alright.

One of those roguelites where you just don't want to start another game after losing.
