The intro to the old Monstercat Podcast is a lot better than Monstercat's Call of the Wild. Episode 105 of the Monstercat Podcast, released on May 10, 2016, is one of the best episodes as it starts of very strong with "Play" by MUZZ (formerly "Muzzy"), featuring UK:ID. After that absolute banger finished, I'm still hooked by a smooth transition into Noisestrom with "Leaving Now" and Melano's "Don't Fight It" right after. At the eleventh minute mark, we spice things up even more with a brutal drift into "Never Looking Back" by Stonebank – featured as the weekly spotlight –, only to smooth right back out with "I Am You" – Haywyre's 2016 classic. That's really just the beginning. The Podcast also includes Fractal's "Fire Away" with beautiful lyrics from Danyka Nadeau, "Alone" by Marshmello, and some classic Rootkit with "Elevate".

Episode 105 really captures the 2016 feeling. An homage to a time so great, we will never get to experience it ever again.
