I quite enjoyed this game and found it quite challenging for sure, but I honestly thought I was still playing the tutorial level when the entire game ended. Definitely sold on the charming graphics. I would love to see more, maybe as episodic content / DLC?

Flight Simulator is absolutely stunning, and the visuals are truly breathtaking. So why would I not recommend this game to other players?

Don't let the 27hrs of gameplay fool you. Most of that is installing the game, downloading the updates, and reinstalling it.

At the time of writing, it just feels like a massively overpriced tech demo that, you must admit, is visually stunning, but incredibly lacking in features when compared to its predecessor. It's also full of bugs, which the developers have already admitted to rushing both the release and subsequent fixes.... hence the delay in additional bugfixes. I was actually very surprised to find a World Update with new visuals was prioritised over the game breaking bugs that still exist.

Also, if you uninstall the game and then reinstall it, it's such a confusing experience and took me ages to realise you had to re-download all the game content from the "marketplace" which is hard enough to find.

I've owned this game since it came out for the xbox 360, and purchased it again for the PC at full price. It was an incredible game back then, and still is! But it has been 2 years now since it came out for PC, and Take Two's escalating greed has made online an awful experience. All the prices are ridulous... $3mil for a motorbike? You either have to grind for days or buy their shark cards, which is the only reason why the online DLC is still coming. Take Two pulled the plug on the single player DLC just so the team could focus on ensuring a consistent revenue stream in Shark Cards. I don't use mods, but it's a massive part of the single player experience for most and that's what is keeping GTA5 alive. These shark cards are the reason people are resorting to hacking the online experience.

Bought this a long time ago with high hopes, and in all honesty it just hasn't done the franchise justice. I kept giving it a chance since it came into Early Access (which was nothing more than a way to cash in during the delayed release.

As a fellow developer I can understand how hard they've worked to live up to the hype in such a short amount of time, the problem is with Atari. I can't help but feel sorry for Nvizzio, but it will no doubt be the developers that take blame.

As with all other reviews, the true follow up to the RCT series comes from the developers of RCT3.

RCTW is Top Gear with Chris Evans, Planet Coaster is The Grand Tour.

So I ignored all the hype and negative reviews surrounding the "false advertising", and I decided to look at it as a similar game to Spore.

I have played full price games that have taken a lot less time to complete, and in NMS... I'm only just getting started after 3 hours.

Let's not forget that "false promises" are common-place with many AAA titles (looking at you Watch Dogs, and even GTA).

In short, if you ignore all the hype ever happened, it's still a great game.

I've just been playing this game for over 2 hours straight, getting into it and actually really enjoying it.

Not sure why you can't use arrow keys or WASD to move the screen, especially when it doesn't have edge scrolling. Instead you have to hold the right mouse button down to move, and on a macbook it's rather annoying.

Word of advice, DO NOT HIT THE ESC KEY. If you click on Staff in the menu and click add staff, at the confirmation dialog, hitting ESC will hide the staff window but not exit out of the confirmation dialog. You'll get a memory address error if you press the X on that screen. Scared the life out of me when I saw it as usually that's a sign the game has crashed. Luckily I was wrong. Panic over.

Now I've decided to rename a habitat and forgot what animals I had in there, so I hit ESC again thinking it would do the logical thing it should do, but no instead it closes the habitat's info screen behind the dialog, only this time... there is only one button and now it doesn't work.

There's literally no way to close this rename dialog window, and I fear the game doesn't autosave! I'm still on that screen as I type, so here goes nothing. Force quit, relaunched, and luckily it does autosave! Quite a recent save too (the last time the park closed).

So while I would highly recommend it for the fact it's a relaxing game to play that isn't challenging, the few issues I've mentioned are definitely annoying which makes it feel like a poor mobile port of the game.

I've seen the development team have no interest in doing any more work on this game, but it's apparent that they definitely need to spend more time refining most of their games before moving onto the next.

thought I would only play the first 10 minutes to see what it was like... ended up sinking a whole weekend into it! Cliffhanger after cliffhanger is all i can say, and every choice you make matters. I guess it's a great metaphor for life.

What a lovely game! Great fun, slight repetitiveness to it, but in all great fun so far!

At first I was very disappointed by this game, mainly due to performance issues. Turns out that setting it at 720p with High settings runs pretty smoothly and looks much better than setting it to native 1080p with lower settings. I've heard there are a few other people having problems with the native resolution, this may be the solution for now until they actually optimise it.

As for the gameplay... I initially got bored of the hacking very quickly, and quite frustrated by it actually, but the more I continued, the more its grown on me. Storyline is great too.

UPDATE:

Having played through the entire campaign now, I must say it was a very enjoyable experience. Aside from the performance issues, once you get the hang of it, it's was definitely worth the wait. Of course, my online experience has been next to none existant, but that will change.

Such a good game. Love the graphics, love the simplicity of it, and of course the music! A great way to pass the time.
