Game is poorly optimized and lacks depth. Too many useless repetitive events. Can't open the trade menu past 1880 or in MP without the game freezing, in a game about production and trade.

Early Access Review
A fun citybuilder, quite a lot of depth an content with very few issues for an early access game. Dev(s) has done great work with fast bugfixes and a lot of community input.

30 euros for a handful of events, you can play 1-2 hours and then you'll have seen all the events already

meh, performance is pretty bad atm. Can't really recommend for EU players since the only active servers are NA so your ping will be through the roof.

Shooting is pretty good, but the melee is honestly worse than Mount & Blade or Holdfast

As of 01/02/2022 the multiplayer isn't playable due to a 1HP bug that prevents you from killing enemies. Wouldn't recommend untill it has been fixed.

It's a fun, casual shooter. Performance is great, visuals are stunning and the sound is perfect. The multiplayer maps are nice and varied, some levels are less unique but that's probably due to the lack of variation of scenery shown in the sequel trilogy.
Gameplay-wise there are your standard 4 classes with multiple different heroes and vehicles for each faction per era. Unfortunately the servers are currently bugged to hell meaning you can't kill people. Except for the new cards it's basically the same as the old Battlefront just a bit larger and more varied.

There's a campaign, which wasn't part of the previous Star Wars Battlefront and now I understand why. It's clear from the outset that it's a sideshow compared to the multiplayer. It's incredibly short at around 6 hours including the expansion, with no real reason to re-play it. It's riddled with bugs and glitches, sometimes even forcing you to restart the mission, which shouldn't be possible in an AAA title years after release. Furthermore the campaign is extremely linear, even outside of the spaceships. The story is just bad and really predictable which is kind of sad. It's annoying that when you're finally able to play on the side of the Empire you as the player are forced to switch side for no real reason other than ''bad guys bad, can't have the player support evil''. A real shame, would've been nice to see the Star Wars universe from a different perspective.

So just stick to the multiplayer and have fun blasting hoards of clankers.

Basically Gwent with a story. The story is great, all the dilemma's and grittiness one would expect from a Witcher game. The art-style is great, I love the fact that you can finally explore many of the locations that haven't been shown in previous titles but that have been extensively mentioned in the books, which is a big plus for longtime fans of the franchise.

The gameplay is fine and it's being helped out greatly by the fact that each chapter has different enemy types and classes forcing you to constantly adept and upgrade your deck. The puzzles are nice but often they have only one single way to solve them which kind of hampers any creative play-style. The characters are well-written and divers, you can interact with them a bit and they each influence the outcome of the events in the story which makes for quite an emotional rollercoaster at times.

10/10 would recommend.

If you keep in mind that this is a game from 2007 then it's very enjoyable. The writing is good, characters are interesting and mostly morally grey. Combat is somewhat decent, honestly I find this combat system more engaging than the one in the Witcher 2. The prologue is very confusing for anyone that hasn't read the books or played the later titles but the areas after that are all quite interesting and unique, rewarding you for exploring and interacting with the world around you.

Absolutely broken lmao, kills any MP game. Most features are very basic or simply not working as intended. Favours suck ass as always.
