Having put more than 1000 hours into this game I can most definitely say that every second was worth it. Ill be honest, there is some toxicity, but you are going to find that in every online game ever created. The amount of communities that have been created around rocket league is staggering. If you decide you want to play in some tournaments and get competitive with rocket league, you can do than without a problem. But whats even more amazing is that, while competitive, rocket league still has appeal in a casual sense. On top of the amazing gameplay, Rocket league has amazing developer support and has constant content updates. The esports scene can be very addicting and the cross platform play is only rivaled by games like fortnite. Rocket league is on so many consoles and hardly costs anything. There are crates in the game, but at no point do you feel forced to buy them. One of the most valuable items in the game is literally impossible to get in a crate. It is not very easy, but if you want to you could get every item in the game without spending a dime after buying the game.

In short, rocket league is a fun and addicting game that appeals to both competitive and casual players. It is easy to play, but hard to master. It is hands down one of the best games I have ever played in my life and is being run by one of the best develpoment teams I have ever seen. Here's to a bright future for Rocket League!

P.s. To all those who are crying about Epic games aquiring Psionix. CHILL OUT. Epic games is literally responsible for the biggest video game the world has ever seen and while they do not have the best record, the Psyonix devs are still going to be the main people developing Rocket League. Only good things can come. The only thing they could literally do to ruin the game is change the base gameplay, and they are not going to do that. Lastly, at least Epic aint EA! and at least rocket league is and will always be supported on steam whether it is available for purchase or not.
