Regardless of whether you love or hate card games, regardless of how good or bad you are at card games, this is a game everyone should play at least once.

Extremely faithful recreations of the original games, which still hold up today and are some of my personal favorites of the entire Mega Man series. Works beautifully on Steam Deck, the only thing that confuses me is the inclusion of Denuvo Anti-tamper.

Will You Snail? is a really fun game with a shockingly touching story.
But let's get one thing out of the way:
You will die.
A lot.
The AI, named Squid, has homicidal tendencies (and is also kind of a pessimist). He'll analyze your movements and predict what you're going to do next, and will spawn traps to try to kill you. He can also automatically adjust the difficulty to make the game harder or easier depending on how you're doing, though this can be disabled in the in-game settings. This results in a game that can be really difficult at times, but feels fun to play.
If you're fine with that and aren't prone to breaking your device out of rage, I highly recommend this game. It plays quite nicely on Steam Deck.

An enjoyable game for only $5. Getting into a game can be kinda turbulent since it's exploded in popularity, but it's certainly possible. Just don't join the Discord.

An enjoyable experience from beginning to end. For the best possible experience, install Dreamcast Conversion using the SADX Mod Installer.

Hacknet is quite an amazing game. It may not look or sound like much, but I guarantee that you'll be hooked shortly after you start playing. It has an amazing story as well as a great soundtrack that really fits the game. Additionally, it isn't too resource-demanding, so even if you have a potato for a PC, you can probably still play it!
If you're looking for more after finishing the main game, you can get the Labyrinths DLC, and the Hacknet community has published many Extensions (essentially custom stories) to the Workshop.
I recommend Hacknet to anyone who wants a unique experience, but also a fun one.

Early Access Review
For software that cost me only $3.99, I expected a half-baked, resource-intensive application. However, Wallpaper Engine exceeded my expectations. It holds true to it's claims of being able to bring your desktop alive and some of the wallpapers even add a level of interactivity, This application is definitely recommended by me.

I had originally broken my dongle, and since Valve took them off sale along with the actual device, I hadn't been able to get a new one and my controller fell into disuse. However, after discovering it also works via Bluetooth, I've been using my Steam Controller a lot more recently. My opinions haven't changed, this is a masterfully crafted device that works well and does what it advertises. Low latency and precise controls. It's unfortunate that Valve discontinued the controller, it has a lot of untapped potential. Please consider bringing the Steam Controller back and giving it the second life it deserves. Remember, unpopular does not equal bad, it just means it didn't have the attention and publicity it needed and deserved.

This game is amazing in the way that it combines fun with building towers and physics. It's also REALLY addictive. This game is a must-get.
