This game is fun but only for a few minutes before it gets very repetitive. Personally I didn't find there to be any replay value and the optimisation wasn't great either. Constant FPS drops made this game a literal headache.

Will be refunding this until it's fleshed out a bit more.

I want to start this review by saying THIS GAME DESPERATELY NEEDS VR SUPPORT.

This game is so detailed and so perfect for VR and motion controllers. I seriously hope the developers add VR support soon as the VR space is lacking a cooking game as detailed and enjoyable as this game. This game could be the flagship cooking game for virtual reality.

Initially when you first load into the game it comes across as a little overwhelming but I encourage you to give it a chance and at least play for a couple of hours before you make your judgement.

I advise you place your spices and chopping boards under the TV monitor opposite the oven. This way you can quickly glance up at the TV screen to see how much of each spice you need to season your ingredients with. It may seem like a lot at first but once you get into the flow of things and start memorising the recipe you'll be fine.


- Lots of recipes
- Physics are acceptable for this game
- Graphics are great
- Difficulty Progress is great
- Plenty of funny moments


- Controls are a little janky: Takes a little while to get used to the controls and they are a little difficult to use sometimes. Another reason why VR would be bloody perfect for this game. Natural interaction with your hands would make this game even more fun.

- Weird sluggish mouse? Even with the latest mouse smoothing changes the mouse still feels not as responsive as I would like. It also feels like VSYNC is forced on despite being turned off.


This game really is very fun. Played 8 hours already and I've only owned it 2 days. If you're a fan of cooking or simulator it's definitely worth checking out.

Wow. I never leave reviews on games but I just had to for this.

I never looked into this game before but I heard it was popular. Picked it up for £3 on the Summer Sale and honestly thought it was going to be a survival game, but instantly got so attached to the story I completed the entire game in one session.

I had goosebumps and chills the entire game, if you enjoy a good story you will love this game.
