Barotrauma is a game where you splice alien genes into yourself, arm your crew up to the teeth with weapons, murder everyone and everything, profit off their demise while maintaining an image of purity in the eyes of the public, and ultimately pilot your sub into the maw of an abyssal hellspawn and rips its entrials out while belting out lung-shattering insults as you and your crew OD on drugs in the heat of combat and conquest.

Core Keeper is a charming, top-down, co-op survival game that scratches that itch for a survival, exploration game. For those of you who have played Terraria or games similar to it, I'd HIGHLY recommend this game. Core Keeper is a excellent example of a self-paced experience and it gives you a LOT in the way of open-ended progression. Want to do bosses in whatever order you want, making it easier or harder on yourself? You can do that. Want to outright skip all the bosses and just horde gear until you're pretty much a boss yourself? You can do that.

Core Keeper is an experience in which the difficulty depends entirely how much on how you decide to approach the game. In a few years time, as long as the devs stick to their current model, Core Keeper will be an incredible experience that I believe could easily match the likes of Terraria. I hope for nothing but the best for the dev team, and I encourage ANYONE to play this game with friends, family, or even strangers if you want to grow a friendship. Godspeed, devs.
