Disgusting ubisoft-ish grind and a boring ass gameplay

Fun to play if you have friends that have played this game. Otherwise there's no competetive component and you lose like half of the emotions of playing this game

I didn't like the game mechanics. You see an interactible object but you can't use it because Lara can't figure out what to do with a longbow and a rope. The camera is shaky, character movement is quirky, QTEs are irritating because of how they're implemented. Moreover, it has UI (resolution) bugs and some messages are just out of picture, appearing a little on the edges of the screen. The story looks stupid when the main character is apparently invincible and heals in a matter of minutes when others can't function properly after the similar injury

Literally a torture to play; unreadable colors. Not even a puzzle

The puzzle pieces stop rotating after they're set in the correct position. So if you click a piece 3 times it just stops rotating, making it extra easy. Shouldn't be allowed in puzzle games.

Also NSFW button stops working after completing the game, then starting and completing the level again

It's a good game with an interesting story but 6 years since release and there's still no ability to skip read text only? No ability to clearly see if there're any new lines said by characters on the second walkthrough? It's a default functionality in visual novels, I think it should be in this game as well.

Other than that, every aspect is nearly perfect. Getting all the endings and achievements is also relatively easy and takes just one playthrough with a guide

Complete disappointment. This is a walking simulator, not a horror game. There were literally no more than 4-5 encounters that required you to do something in order to survive. Other times it was just walking, watching some scenes around you, that kind of stuff. The core mechanics of the first game are removed and nothing's left. I think the authors tried to create an atmospheric game, but they completely failed, because it's useless when you know nobody can't hurt you

Truly a masterpiece in regard to the story and overall slow-paced gameplay. Dive into the world of SOMA and find out all the details about it, explore the surprising world with elements of sci-fi, face the problems of advanced technologies. It's an 8-12 hours adventure that will not leave you unsatisfied.
If you ever played Amnesia but didn't quite like the setting or imagery in it, you should give SOMA a try

The only interesting thing in this game was exploring the locations, filling the map and opening new abilities so you can be able to explore the areas unavailable before.
Fighting bosses seems fun and easy at first, but as you progress, bosses become much stronger and it takes hours to beat them, which is of course not fun and should be configurable by difficulty settings. When you've explored 85% of the map, a lot of backtracking begins, powered by poor transportation system, only to find things that weren't there when you first explored it.
The game features a lot of unneccessary Souls-like mechanics that make it even more boring: losing money if you die and respawning at the bonfires far away from bosses.

Everyone around is talking about Hollow Knight, but in fact it has nothing to offer. You play for 30 hours expecting literally ANYTHING that might explain the popularity of this game, but anything you do, you get no satisfaction in the end. Even though it was on sale, I regret buying this game because not a minute was worth it
