I created this account at around 2012-2013, and have never really thought about how integral this minor, yet fundamental platform was in shaping who I was, and who I am today.

I've experienced the good and bad of the Steam community; the nicest players who have helped me reach key heights I'd have never reached without their input. Alongside that, I've also interacted with the most toxic and downright rude players the community has to offer. The kind of people who you're warned about to not associate with. Ironically, it's the bad side of the community which pushed me to strive for better, while the good gave me incentive to improve.

After all of these years, Steam was always a platform to rely upon; despite the recent changes in business tactics.

Trying to convey my thoughts into words is a challenge in-of-itself, as there is so much history that lay unsaid in my time of writing this.

I have played the greatest games of time, whether it had been to casually chill out with friends on Team Fortress ; or when I wished to unleash my creative freedom on mod. While I never did get too deep into the competitive spectrum, CS:GO and Dota always had my back, even when my teammates didn't.

Steam is something else; a different reality altogether. My experiences shaped me, and that is something I cannot take back, nor would ever want to.

As a final note, I simply want to say: Thank You

Thank You to all my friends, who would play by my side (or otherwise); Thank You to the players who guided me, and helped me as much as I helped them in their endeavors. Thank You to even the toxic part of the community, as I learned from, and strove to be better than many; perhaps not in skill, but in character.

And finally, Thank You, Dear Reader, for reading this post and taking my words into consideration; hopefully if you're a new account, you will make your own experiences, and share them on this platform.
