The addition of BattleEye has ruined the game - now completely unplayable for Steam Deck users and doesn't seem to have stopped so-called "modders" in the slightest. Really disappointing. Half baked and lazy measure for sure.

Pretty addictive seeing the colour get bigger.

Parkour feels great, bit of a slow start and the second area of the game is certainly more fun to climb and run around but definitely worth the wait! Combat is also satisfying, although firearms feel a little out of place and less interesting: both to use and to fight against as it's quite simple to counter (just shoot back) but without a gun you almost always lose. Story is super engaging too with some actually quite entertaining side quests which are good to keep you busy but my personal favourite way to spend time on this game is just running around killing infected personally.

Amazing game, one of my all time favourites. Insane amount of freedom and the whole 'you are not a hero' vibe is really refreshing. Loved playing this game for several years now! Definitely worth the purchase!

Still amazing as time goes on! Modding scene has improved a fair bit too.
