this might be the best game I've ever played

Great side quests
very few bugs, especially for a bethesda game
ship builder is very addicting

i'm 40 hours in and have hardly touched the main story and still have a ton of stuff to do

also with a 4070 and i7 8700k i'm getting near constant 60fps on high, never seen it dip below 40 even in big cities

The story-line is good but almost entirely linear, do not be fooled by the "multiple endings" claim, the amount of difference your dialog choices make is laughable.

The combat is fun and somewhat challenging on hard in certain areas due to mob spam.

Mob variety is lacking, you end up fighting the same guys over and over.

Exploration is enjoyable for a while, however, a lot of the puzzles and dungeons are copy-paste.

NPCs do not react to your actions making the world feel a little dead, if you're looking for that try RDR2.

Lots of invisible walls preventing you from jumping over small walls and objects.

The broom controls (at least on pc) are frustrating, although there is already a mod on nexus addressing this.

Performance has steadily increased since early release, I now get 60fps in areas where i previously got 30fps with a 1080.

All in, its a fun game, the castle is really fun to explore. However, the lack of impact your choices have and consequently the replayability is severely lacking. I would recommend waiting to buy on sale, or waiting for modders to expand the game.

not even close to being worth $50, but if you get a good squad leader it can be fun. Definitely wait for a sale or find it cheaper elsewhere

Fun game, definitely a work in progress. Updates usually come out monthly, the discord is active and worth checking out if you're interested.

Combat is clunky, every attack feels like a quick time scenario.

And as always you have to use ubisoft's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ software, ubisoft connect, which is somehow worse than uplay.

I played this game for "free" with EA play and still feel like I got ripped off.
