I have played R6 for more than 500‪ hours so here is my story of playing and my review of the game.
Almost a year ago I was searching for a good first person shooter game when one of my friends told me to try R6.
Faze one of playing Siege:
I bought Siege and installed but you know R6 is a little bit complicated for a newcomer. Having too much details made me confused and think that the game doesn't just worth to play so I just quitted playing after like 4 or 5 hours.
Notice that this faze happens to many of the new players who have played less than 30 hours of siege.
Why 30?You know R6 is the only game I've seen that takes you more than 30 hours to learn the basics (like maps, operators, and how to recognize friendly and not kill them ;D)
Months later for some reason, I quitted my main FPS game and started playing R6 again. This was the beginning of Faze two, the time I learned the basics of siege.
Faze Two :
The more I learned, the more I enjoyed the game. I am a kind of person who likes to keep his mind busy planning strategies, predicting enemies, etc, And of course R6 is at the highest need of creativity and strategy.
The good thing I found in R6 is that you still can be as effective as other team mates even with high ping or low fps.
The graphics of the game are also very acceptable and the system requirement makes it easy for everyone to play R6.
The recent updates (the recoils and operators) are really heart warming but sad to see they are done after this long time and not before R6 lose many of its fans.
I wish I was present at the shinning days of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege and hope the game's servers become full of players soon again.
You know I myself was the reason of many of my friends started playing R6 or came back to play after years.
Sometimes when I tell people to play R6 they say the game is dead. My heart breaks to hear them say so. Let me tell you that R6 won't die until I am alive. Although I am busy these days to play games, R6 will be the choice of play if I wanted to open a game.

If you want to buy don't doubt matchmaking is fast enough and game is a masterpiece ( you will understand it yourself as soon as you learn it and find good teammates.
If you are an R6 admin please do something for the game don't let it die.
