oh yeah, this game didn't really work for widescreen & would corrupt my save file every time I tried playing it from 9999999 years ago - 0/10 ok

one of THE oldschool games to play, a genuine thinker on some of the levels, like a puzzle.

Floaty controls with the mouse, and some simple keyboard binds, it really puts the fight against the game, but it adds to the challenge, one of the patches adds the amount of sensitivity that'll be put into the game so you have more 'float' control.

<SAVE CORRUPTED> is the true experience

♥♥♥♥♥♥ ahh FOV slider, doesn't go above "103", looks very terrible on 2K screens.

better than PAYDAY 3, still has annoying issues that needs to be fixed and tweaked before I'd fully recommend it.


It is a playable game at its current state, just that some missions just spit on the player's face, and tell them to go ♥♥♥♥ themselves as you struggle to keep alive. Others are calm (not spam the respawn every second because lol xd let's reach the spawn limit for doing an objective), and what you'd want to feel as a game.

Not a fully unrecommend, just that it needs to feel better as a game before I would.

Edit: Also forgot to mention it uses an anti cheat that NEXUS games used to use.

It's ok, has a few issues then and there, but it's ok.

Wait for more content, otherwise you'll burn out rather quickly.

bad and ugly compared to the rest of the games

Note: I haven't seen any 'trendy media' about this game.

The game is about playing with a crew of friends, randoms, or yourself alone.
Gameplay loop is rather simple; you choose a location, get informed of its threat, and can use the computer system to learn about the map that was randomly generated.

You also get to use items that allows to play a map easier; to name a few, you got shovels for attacking, standard flashlights to light up the way, and more passive items like boomboxes.

But the main focus is after landing on the planet, you're tasked to find 'scrap', which is random items scattered around rooms, each item has a weight, which can make it hard to move outside to the ship.
Get enough for the three day cycle, you pass to do it all over again, and with money to travel to new locations for better rewards and risks, or buying items.

If you fail your quota after three days, you lose everything, starting from zero.

If you like playing simple loop cycle games, you might like it, but I personally don't.

Angering things:
It becomes an annoyance of how bad the graphics look, some randomized weather effects also reduce framerate pretty badly, and if you like playing as the monitor station guy, you'll find that it becomes pretty hard to realize that the font with the low quality of everything makes it infuriating to use.
And since it's randomized, some seeds can have bad 'fire exits', which is alternative entrances/exits, and sometimes you can have items be stuck inside walls, or other static props.

Modding:
If you overlook the issues, and/or use mods, you might have a better experience with it.
