Resident Evil 4

Resident Evil 4 – One of the best releases of the year

What about the remake of the most beloved game of the entire Resident Evil saga, Resident Evil 4 with its release in 2005, it came to become one of if not the favorite game of the vast majority of fans, plus the fear we had of it being a fiasco that was not even the Resident Evil 3 Remake came to fruition?

Introduction

I start by saying if you played the remake of Resident Evil 3 and were traumatized by all the cuts made, and unnecessary additions and were afraid of it repeating itself in the Remake of Resident Evil 4, I gladly inform you that CAPCOM hit all the chips in this game, everything it got wrong in the previous one, she not only got it right here, but raised it to another level, a game that in technical terms is practically perfect, a game that leaves nothing to be desired, but we will delve deeper into it.

True to the original?
Is the Remake faithful to the original 2005 game? Yes, in this remake I fear all the scenarios of the original game, but not only a "Ctrl C" and "Ctrl V" of the original game, they redid all the scenarios at the modeling level, expanding that already had and adding new details and 100% new places, thus pleasing all audiences from the most nostalgic to the novice in the franchise, with most of the original weapons, most of the original enemies, and no original personations removed, plus new mechanics, the game was extremely balanced in terms of fidelity and innovation.
Removed content:
Has the game had content removed? Unfortunately, they did not keep everything from the original, but I think it was very coherent, because for each removal had at least 2 new additions, I would say that what was removed was only to leave the game more with survival horror face than an action game, leaving the game more condicent with other remakes and new releases of the franchise.
Graphics:
What about the graphics, are graphics that surpass excellence, one of the most beautiful games I've ever played, as said by a friend: "this game and the most of RE Engine", these are excellent graphics from modeling to textures, leaving you with the feeling that this is one of the best games of today, as an example of the attention of the developers to the smallest details, when looking at the models of the characters and possible to notice even the sewing of the clothes.
Sounds:
What not to say of this soundtrack, simply took the original, improved the excellence, from the sound of the weapons to the battle songs against the bosses, having that you can perceive the difference between the enemies, and the weapons you use, giving a huge weight to your immersion, because if you do not pay attention to the sound you can end up being hit from behind, a beautiful sound demonstration and well-made soundtrack, faithful to the original, giving the taste of playing again just to be able to hear it all over again, and for the most fans you can buy a dlc that leaves the game with the entire original soundtrack of the 2005 game.
History:
The story of the game is excellent, because they simply took the original story and added more details, just changing the order of some events, and giving even more screen space to characters who did not have as much prominence in the original, and even then were one of the most beloved characters, with that the story is excellent, well written and directed to keep you glazed until the last second, and shows how CAPCOM listened to all the fans, and in the end delivered an excellent job.
Gameplay:
The gameplay was perfect, starting with movement update, leaving tank movement behind, now you can walk freely, crouch for stealth sessions and the best addition: walk while aiming, this leaves you with many possibilities of what to do at all times, and another great addition was to new mechanics with the knife, being one of the most used weapons of the original, CAPCOM made it much more important, giving the ability to deflect attacks from enemies and finish them, thus leaving the gameplay dynamic and at the same time with all the fear that survival horror can present you, leaving you excited and at the same time cautious with the resources, because they are taught in the right way you can end up screwing, more even with few resources, with the right strategy and possible to pass the boss.

Final considerations:

Come on, what do I think of this game, simply one of the best games released this year, with excellent quality content, managing to please all potential buyers, so I recommend this game, and I say that it is worth the entire launch price, because it will provide you with hours and more hours of fun.
