A game this sickly cute shouldn't be THIS good. Though I have played for only a couple of hours, this game is remarkable in pretty much every aspect. The controls and platforming are very smooth, every time I've messed up was my own fault and I've never felt like the game did some kind of bs. The gameplay mechanics are best described as if Kirby had hats instead of copying his enemies ability, where you get hats that have special abilities that help you proceed in the world. The music is extremely catchy and beautifully made and I would easily put it on the same level as Mario 64. The music will change dynamically depending on your location and what is happening, and is done pretty much perfectly. I will likely end up getting the soundtrack for the game as well.

The world design and exploration are bar none one of the best I've seen in awhile, with every corner to explore having some kind of collectable or reason to be going there. The humor in this game is strikingly refreshing and left me actually laughing out loud not just breathing in and out of my nose quickly per the usual jokes. Though I wouldn't want my dad seeing me play this, I would recommend and share this game to literally anyone, as the content is not offensive at all and is safe for kids as well. The humor has a very ageless feel to enjoy, that's both snappy & witty with a bit of edge without going too far.

tl;dr Did you enjoy platformers like Mario 64, Bomberman Hero, Kirby 64? Have you felt a hole in your heart where you've missed an amazing 3D platformer experience? Did you feel let down by recent attempts at original 3D platformers and want a quality one? Answered yes to any of these, get it. GET IT.
