I have no words to explain how much I enjoyed this game; the art, music and story direction were all incredible! I was a little worried when I first heard Elden Ring was going to be open world but FromSoftware knocked it out of the park and I cannot wait for a DLC! If I had to rank it; I think I enjoyed it more than Dark Souls 3 but just under Bloodborne (all of which I highly recommend playing!)

Probably the biggest complaint you'll hear is the reuse of boss monsters and I get that but it didn't bother me all that much. With over 100 bosses in the game and the sheer scale of the map I was finding plenty to do to keep from getting bored. Plenty of endings, questlines, weapons and spells to fit any gameplay style and they've improved upon the "lockout" out questlines from previous Soulsborne games. What I mean is that *most* questlines you can skip over bits and not be locked out of completing it which is a nice quality of life improvment upon the other games.

If you like the Soulsborne games or are thinking about dipping your toes into them, Elden Ring could be a good choice! I explored all I could on my first playthrough and it was 120hours to complete it!
