Great fun to play, but looks a bit dated. Pick it up cheap and patch it for wide-screen using the fix here[github.com].

Well, it's a game. It's a game about trucking. It's a game about trucking your arz off all over Europe. There's also a bit of pretending that you would like to manage a whole bunch of other truckers, trucking their own arzses off too, but that's missing the point. It's trucking. It's trucking like you've never been trucked before. It'll truck you sideways so hard that your eyes will bleed!

Graphics - good, considering.
Realism - not amazing, but OK.
Modability - trucking fantastic. Hundreds of trucking mods all over the trucking place! Paint-jobs, physics tweaks, extra routes etc.
Other stuff - nice. Supports TrackIR, wheels & pedals, Oculus Rift.
Conclusion - see line 1. Worth it full-price. Even more worth it if you can get it cheaper, or with expansions.

An old classic. You can patch it to improve the gfx. Google.

Looks and plays OK, but not very noob-friendly. I'm pretty good at FPSs and I have put-in many thousands of hours to others over the years (1500+ on TF2 alone), but here you'll get killed a LOT until you work out how best to use the weapons and learn the intricacies of the maps. Too much. I couldn't be bothered to accept the challange. The game feels too small to me anyway and the rounds are over too quickly.

Best Left 4 Dead-clone I've played. Might rival the original once it's finished and will look nicer. Needs more maps.

OK if you can get it very cheap. Reasonable fun, but showing it's age.

Same as the previous game. Get bored, shooting thousands of things with thousands of guns over a huge map. Some bits are also very hard and frustrating, so if you save in one of those missions you seem to be stuck until you can finish it (at least that's what happened to me). I gave-up on it. Other people think it's great.

A quick look confirmed that AA is not the game it used to be in the old days. Shame.
