This would mostly just be a weaker but faster version of the stock ubercharge, with the charge time cut in half but is overall only half as effective. It would also encourage Medics to use something besides the ubersaw, and give the amputators taunt healing a more practical purpose. (Since if you want to store as much uber as possible without activating it, then you need to use either the crossbow or the amputator for healing.)

Had an idea for a TF2 medigun. No idea what I would call it or what the design would be, but I thought the stats would be interesting.

[Medigun]

+ 50% charge rate (20 seconds of healing until full uber)
- No overheal (Or very little overheal)
- No uber from any other sources (i.e ubersaw)
- No uber from healing full health players
- Cannot store an ubercharge (when you reach 100% ubercharge, it will automatically activate)

On uber:
+ 50% resistance to all damage; applies to Medic and patient
+ No enemy crits (Or, all crits turn to mini-crits)
+ No uber lost upon flashing teammates
- Charge only lasts four (Maybe five?) seconds
(Possibly add a small speed boost?)
