Man, I apparently got every single achievement for this game, and I don't remember a single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing about it.

If you can get it from a key reseller, you should give this a try. Redux is a lot more gamified and that can be a bad thing in some spots.

I've replayed this game over and over and over - every difficulty, with and without cheats, as different characters...

It's hilariously fun, has great plot and dialog (taking everything just the right amount of serious), excellent slow-motion shootouts and physics havoc...

Highly recommended.

A lot of experienced players will advise you to skip Returns in favor of Dragonfall \ HK. But I feel that it's a fairly good introduction to the setting \ mechanics (particularly if you use the mod that imports Returns in Dragonfall).

It's fairly short, but it's often sold at a huge discount \ given away for free.

Also, you can run user made campaigns. The Antumbra trilogy and the Cobblepot Caper were pretty good, IMO.

I checked out of this game about a third of the way through - I'm a huge scaredy cat, and diving deep into dark water with something trying to drown you is one of my major phobias.

But if you don't mind being terrified and don't have a problem with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crazy endings, this is the game for you. Varied puzzles, heart-stopping escapes, terrifying setpieces, very fluid and impressive animation, interesting worldbuilding.

I really liked the forest section of the game, which had most of the iconic moments. The urban puzzles part was generally less effective, but still interesting. Once the game started ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around with gravity, I basically checked out, even though I was fairly near the end.

As Limbo is often sold in bundles \ with huge discounts, I'd recommend buying it, just for the forest parts.

Black Flag is the tragic story of a roguish protagonist trying to stick to his excellent pirate adventures, only to constantly get dragged into a terrible A$s Creed plot.

You'll note that the parts anyone remembers or cares are from pirate adventures and buccaneer buddies, and the (incredibly well done) ending is all about piracy rather than ancient artifacts, Templars, and alien nonsense.

Anyway, it's the last great classic Ass Creed, and I highly recommend it.

Are you interested in having a hacker wreck your entire team every other round? With no way to kick hackers and reports doing nothing?

If not, don't play this game on PC.

As a Russian Fallout-Metro-Stalker fan, this game gets worse the more you get into it.

Even if you're really alt-right yourself, the overreliance on memes and references instead of any interesting dialog or characters should annoy you. Even if you were looking for a Fallout clone that doesn't improve on the gameplay - in a lot of ways, the gameplay is WORSE, very fond of wasting your time and annoying you.

In short: Regular metro gameplay is kinda old, while the new stuff is pretty bad.

Fighting \ stealthing the same bandits \ monsters got kinda old. The open world isn't particularly interesting and a pain to transverse. Everything is is slow - NPCs take forever to say nothing of value, vehicles are clumsy and annoying, glitches abound.

Probably more to the point - there just aren't many character, story beats or setpieces that leave a positive impression.
