It's pretty much the best gaslight fantasy stealth game you can get outside the Thief series (possibly the only gaslight fantasy stealth game outside the Thief series). Everything is great (except for the plot, characters and dialog)

Get this game. Kill orcs. Have fun. Get extra maps for the sequel.

The fact that this games "talky bits" and the way choises and consequences are handled hasn't become a WRPG standard is an indictment of the state of the industry. Forget whatever rubbish you may have heard about buggy Obesidian games - you owe it to yourself to check this game out if you're the least bit interested in RPGs.
