Fantastic cleaning simulator.

The different crime scenes never become too long or boring because of the variety in places, themes and even atmosphere. I would actually love to have even more and bigger levels, maybe as a DLC map pack or as an expansion staying canon with the already established story.

Which is the real surprise for me. The actually interesting storylines. Not only of Kovalsky and his new boss Big Jim but also that every single crime scene tell its own story of how the place ended up becoming the way it is. Either there are bloody footsteps going away from a victim, or there are some broken pieces of glass lying around, looking like last ditch efforts to defend themselves. There are also some very strange or comedic references to other media.

Even the secrets either tell their own story, have a funny twist or expand or change the whole mood of a crime scene. You can also find cassette tapes. Those can be played in an in-game music player, where you can select your favourite found music from the levels, skip or make your own playlist. Gives the player even more motivation to explore and find out secrets. There are also some actual bangers, as well.

Overall I would highly recommend this game for people who like to chill, explore, hunt for secrets or enjoy a short but well voiced story. I feel like the best praise I could give is that the only negative side of the game is wanting more of it.

Good and cheap alternative to recreational crack. Additionally a quick and fun way to time travel forward. Wanna play 5 minutes? 2 hours have passed. Had to uninstall and hide the game from my Steam library in order to stop, but other than that I would highly recommend it.

My only regret is showing this game to my mother, who now has more hours played then me :(
LocalThunk please give me back my mum, I'm sorry

Amazingly charming and fun rogue-like.

Meta-upgrades and a big focus on managing your own cult with lots of fun ways to interact, design and manipulate your followers. Food and a clean home is also just as important as keeping your cult members truthful to your beliefs. Use their prayers and love to upgrade yourself and the cult even more.

Tons of different ways to play the game. Very high replayability through lots of weapons, relics, curses and game-changing clothing. A mixture of never having the same run of battling enemies like Hades and managing your cult, money and food similar to Stardew Valley.

The story may not be that intricate. It serves its purpose and keeps you engaged in wanting to find out more about the world, though. Side quests, secrets and seasonal content included. The best part: The devs are not even done yet. Even though there is already an immense amount of fun content to play through. Their Roadmap shows two more big updates. It's gonna be awesome.

A must-play for every rogue fan =)

Masterpiece in story-telling, gameplay and athmosphere (spoiler-free review)
The fun of progressing through learning and figuring out how the game & the rules of this universe work is one of the rarest feelings you can have while playing a game. No skill-trees, no upgrades, no leveling. Just a small little space on your ship where you keep your findings, questions and mysteries. Knowledge and experience is your progressbar.

Which is why it will start out slow or confusing for most players, as it did for me as well. My first few session were like 20 minutes, because I didn't quite get it. Don't worry! That's fine and part of the game. I don't think many are used to this kind of progression and feel a sense of pointlessness when playing. (I guess overstimulation in modern times has changed our way of being entertained). Be patient, though. After you've answered some question, explored some of the universe, you get intrigued. You want to figure out more about everything. The more you learn, the more you want to keep learning and go for more.

The bad side of games who pull you in that hard, is knowing that eventually, it will end. And what an ending it has. Don't read anything about this game in terms of story, you don't need any walkthroughs since everything can be explored or solved logically. Go in as blind as possible, enjoy all the things this game has to offer and before you know it, the end credits will roll and you will yearn for more.

Amazing visuals, no bugs/glitches, godlike OST and a masterclass in story-telling and gameplay. Must-play game

Let's see what you can expect in this massive little game:
A customizable and expanding HUB area, 14 different maps, Boss levels, custom mode, an even more rogue-like mode, new game+, new game infinite, weekly and daily challenges, highscore challenges, its own playable card collecting game, collecting songs, collecting hats, outfits and colors for your boneraiser, collecting enemy information by killing them, it hath ye old english, map customization, unlocking new map customizations, traders, fake traders who laugh at you when you "buy" something, minions who turn you into an immovable snowman, different currencies (coins, gems, bones, souls, all with different rarities) perma banning items, perma banning minions, upgrading items, upgrading minions, upgrading upgraded minions with souls, fuse said soul minions with each other for an even stronger minion, giving that minion another soul for the ultimate transformation, exploding pumpkins, bookshelves to store your spells, a regrowable pink fruit which gives you more health, 3 different rarity chests, 3 different rarity huge chests, a weird totem which overheals you, a character which succs enemy dry for increased max health, a character with a big brain who absorbs all your minions powers to make him the ultimate final boss of a bullet hell game.

It has everything that a bullet heaven or vampire survivors like could have and then some. I probably even forgot a lot of fun things in that list. All that for the price of a half eaten Big Mac

Caiys, the man behind this masterpiece, is an absolute legend.

He started this game in June 2022 and updated the game almost every single day, at least every single week for more than a whole year. Mind you, he is just one person doing all of that. Just look at the update history of this game, it has 170 different patches. That is without including the Mischievous Mondays, which is a content expanding new update every single monday for more than 1 year. what

It's a fantastic take on the exploding bullet heaven genre, with the twist or difference being that you don't shoot or kill enemies yourself. You rather spawn a bunch of powerful, goofy and fun minions to do the job for you. There is an absurd amount of different playstyles, not just a different starter weapon, like most bullet heavens have. Your character determines which minions have the strongest synergy with your skills, or which items would be the most powerful with your character. Not only is there the element of theory-crafting your best composition of minions and items to get the most points (or fastest clears), you also have to be mechanically active in avoiding enemies with dashing or kiting around tough opponents.

This game is the definition of Labor of Love and eventhough it won't win, because of popularity reasons, its easily the winner.

Thank you caiys, much love

Best one in the series! The first one was a neat little idea, with some interesting elements, like cleaning the restaurant and reporting robberies. The second one expanded on the ideas of the first one and added more complex dishes plus some decoration for your own restaurant. Getting all the achievements in the 2nd one is only for the most hardcore players though.

This one has a nice middle ground of amazing dishes, hard but not impossible levels and unique handicaps. They tuned down the decorations from the 2nd game, but increased the amounts of levels, dishes and dialogue between the characters throughout the story. Speaking of, the story is also pretty interesting and well voiced.

The main focus of cooking more and more complex dishes as fast and efficient as possible is still the same. Now more fun than ever, through added quality of life features. The game has a possible infinite replayability, being able to choose from so many dishes in various difficulties. If you enjoy typing or Quick-Time-Event games, this one is definitely for you.

Beware though, the food is drawn absolutely delicious. Don't play this game while hungry.

Somehow they managed to make this game even more beautiful than the first two. Absolutely stunning visuals and some new particle effects for the new pylons/crystals. You can now plug them in their designated spaces to choose what laser-color you want to have shooting out of the wall. Now it's also not one huge area, but smaller sections where you travel to with teleporters, making the game run even better than the previous ones.

Every cube except the mirror-cube make a comeback and there is an additional 3-way cube with the amazing idea to choose which color you want to pass through. There are also the afore mentioned new crystals and newly added colored walls. Those can either let lasers through them or work as a mirror, depending on the color of the laser. These additions make for yet again some absolutely clever and amazing levels.

The last two levels are nothing short but masterpieces, especially the 2nd to last level(s) J1-J2 are perfectly complex but solvable. Even just the visuals of the solution when all lasers point to the right direction look like art. The last level has a bit too many cubes for my liking, but still a fantastic grand solution and sendoff to the game.

The best entry so far, excited for the 4th and last part of this amazing series. =)

Picking up where the first game finished, we get two more cubes (mirror and mirror switch), a reflective wall to enhance complexity even more and again a bunch of extremely well crafted levels. I can't even comprehend how the design of some of those levels came together, amazing. With the same calming music, super clean graphics and a little bit of a backstory of what the facility is/was.

My only real issue are the last 3-4 levels. There are too many cubes. In my opinion more stuff to set up doesn't equal more complex levels. Its just getting tedious and convoluted, if the solution or idea behind a puzzle could be done with less. Unlocking a door with 5 identical locks might seem more complex but quickly becomes pointless when you realize 1 lock would do the same. Additionally a true or intended solution to a puzzle gets murky, because there are way too many ways to interact with everything.

I feel like the game is two steps forward and a slight step backwards, but I'm still looking forward to the 3rd part =)

It's an interesting concept for sure, but I feel like the levels and puzzles are way too simplistic and short. You never really use all three elements in an interesting or intelligent manner.

The music is great, the graphics have a desert and old egypt-feeling, eventhough they could be more refined with some softer edges and more interesting textures. The hand animation while activating something isnt terrible but needs an idle animation or slight sway when moving in different directions. It feels very stiff.

Yes, it is a free game and just a little taste of what could be, but I feel like there needs to be more to even be worth anyones time. Would rate it neutral, not terrible, not amazing but still playable and also free.

Fantastic short little game with some really brainbuster-difficulty levels. If you enjoy the time travel puzzles from The Talos Principle, you will enjoy this game as well. The athmosphere in this game is amazingly well done, with the great ambient sound/music, the lush footsteps in the sand and the absolute gorgeous colors and textures. Every new location is worth 100s of screenshots, pure art.

The game has such a warm and soothing feeling, it's feels like you are almost there in the desert, enjoying the waterfalls and sunshine.

My only complaint would be that the secret ending is rather lackluster, but other than that, a great experience from a small but dedicated dev-team.
