This game has so much potential! Me, my wife and a couple of friends are enjoying the game! I don't really do reviews but this one is totally worthy of writing one. If you love immersive coop survival/base-building/crafting game, then look no further! LOVE the weather effects on this game. The graphics on this game is totally beautiful. If you also enjoy something like Sniper Elite, then the hit animation is also on this game(BIG W!).

Now back to the part about this game having SO MUCH MORE POTENTIAL. there are some things that feels... lacking.
Note: we haven't tried Prometheus and Styx, so this review is mainly based on Olympus(there are currently 3 different worlds to play on!)

1) Me, my wife and the friends that we play with, we all came to an agreement that Olympus feels a bit.. EMPTY. It feels like Olympus is a basic version of earth... other than the worms and "exotics", it doesn't really make you feel like you're in a whole different world... there really isn't much of a "mob" variety or a "mutant" kind of creatures that you would expect to encounter in a different planet. An "exploration" game suppose to make you feel excited and to constantly give you that feeling like you'll never know what you're going to encounter next!

2) Water: Water areas in general is also lacking... The lake and mini oceans are all graphically beautiful! THAT IS WHY it's sad to see that apart from the few variety of fish that you can see swimming around, there is nothing else to it other than fishing... I would love to see something like an underwater mutated fish/creatures/bosses of some sort. Another idea would be underwater caves, or basically some sort of POI(s) would be great!

3) TALENT TREES: Some Tier III talents are not even worth getting and are just plain useless given the fact that the % chance to proc the talent is so darn LOW. + you need to spend like 2-3 talent pts for it is just a huge L. I've played way too many MMOs to know if a skill/perk/talents is viable or not. I'm mainly pointing this out because it's supposed to be a HIGH TIER talent.

4) Lastly Leveling: Why in the world is there a lvl cap??? Mount lvl resets when you transport them into a new world(not sure if it's the same for pets and animals in general)? This isn't a competitive game, it's a chill coop game that you play with your friends after you got tilted playing League or Valorant because you encountered THAT one player that just tilted the F**K out of you!(JK.)

In conclusion: other than the few things noted above, we totally LOVE this game! And as of NOW, this game is a solid 7 out of 10!

i used to play the first DF and man i tell you, this game is a MUST PLAY!!!
if you're lookin for a chill zombie survival rpg(adventure/looting/gearing/lvling) this is for you!
not really an "mmo" YET but it has potential to get more players in :)

my overall experience for almost a whole day of straight up playing: 8/10 for a fun zombie survival rpg feel <3
