This game is fantastic. Go into it blind and then after that get the pacifist ending, its worth it.

This game is fantastic. I'd recommend playing even with randoms, the extra chaos makes it even more amusing and the community is loads of fun in my experience so far.

Incredibly bang for the buck, even at full price! Definitely worth it if you enjoyed the base game.

If you're a fan of previous BGS games and you like sci-fi, this is the game for you! I already adore this game and cant wait to see it grow from here with future content updates, DLC, and of course.. Mods!

It's massive with a lot of features that extend horizontally, meaning you don't have to touch anything you don't want to but its always there waiting for if/when you do. It does take about 12ish hours to really get going though because there is so much to grasp here. I promise its worth sticking around for!

One of the rare few games where your choices do matter. It feels like the game was built around you personally.

Embrace the dice, live your fantasy, probably die a lot. It's all great fun.


EDIT - Post finishing the game I am.. A bit disappointed. I hope Larian gives us more content (even if DLC) to make the ending not so.. sudden? Empty?

The game is still very good and very much worth playing but after all the time I spent with it, I expected a little more of a conclusion that I was given.

Enjoy each part, don't rush to the end, because the end is the worst part of this experience.

If you were a major fan of Darkest Dungeon 1, you might not like the direction this game took. I personally prefer the removal of the micro-managed army of characters and the addition of roguelite mechanics. I like the (big) bite-sized runs and don't feel as destroyed when a run fails. The game is still very challenging and you will suffer, but you'll suffer just enough that you want to play again instead of turning the game off for a few months to mentally recover from 12 hours of lost progress. They also improved on a lot of the gameplay and visuals from the original which I'm loving so far!

Unfortunately the original hardcore fans probably wont enjoy this game but if you were a more casual fan or a first timer, this might just pull you in!

A classic brought back and better than ever! Game plays great and the new content is awesome to see.

I hope the devs consider bringing back all of the Papa's games in the future!
