Fallout 1 is an amazing RPG that is still worth playing in 2024. The controls and UI are clunky and outdated but besides that it is an enjoyable experience.

Remember to click F1 for controls.
Set Resolution to lower than your monitor; the items, characters, and environment can be too small and difficult to see on higher resolutions.

This game is great and worth the $20 listed price. It is an exceptional PC port with satisfactory graphics adjustment options and obviously given its age, it does not demand much from modern system specifications. It plays like an action oriented Resident Evil game, expected from both franchises' shared developer, Capcom. The player controls Frank West who must defend against a horde of undead in barricaded Colorado mall.

The game features time sensitive main story and side story quest lines. Many side quests involve rescuing survivors from sticky situations and escorting them to the safe house which Frank is rewarded for with experience points. After gaining sufficient experience points, Frank will level up, increasing his health and stamina among other traits. There are also a few optional bosses, known as "psychopaths" in-game, by which upon their defeat, experience points are awarded as well as a weapon. Players can also take photos and based on their quality, experience is gained.

Because of the quantity of side quests, the game has great replayability for players that may have missed a few optional parts of the game or for those who wish to play a New Game Plus run which saves the level and stats of the Frank West from your last completed run into the new run.

Not considering the price of the game, which is incredibly reasonable and is often subject to discounts, the game is absolutely worth.

Enjoyed the demo played it once on steam and twice on my xbox, it can take about an hour long at most if you really want to take your time or like 5-10 minutes if you don't care about the other items or cut scenes. I'm also pleased that they didn't make it "ONE SHOT" like RE2 there's really no reason to have a timed demo let people play as long as they want.

At first I thought they would just make RE3 with the same UI as RE2, but they did change it a little so that's cool. The graphics are pretty good too. I have a 1070ti and an i7 and I can use high settings with a bunch of other graphical settings turned on and get over 80fps+. It seems that RE3 is going to be a little more action oriented in a way than RE2 was. Jill can dodge and if you time it right it's cinematic, and sometimes you can one shot zombies splitting their heads open.

Chapter 1 was great for being an introduction I guess. I'll probably buy the other chapters. I'm a scared dog when it comes to horror games. I had to play it with my little sister who beat it multiple times... But great game I'm just worried about the fanbase I don't want it to become FNAF...

If your in to WW2 and strategic games then this game is good for you. But the vanilla game is a little crappy and limited but there's Plan B and that's mods. A mod that makes it a better WW2 game is Road to 56. Plus if you're sick of WW2 there are plenty of other war mods. Like WW1, Modern Day (Millennium Dawn). Also if you want a laugh there are plenty of satire mods out there. In short the base game is good. The mods make this game great. Worth a Buy. 8/10

Early Access Review
Honestly I bought this game and I really wanted to play but for me I got bored after 19 hours, It has the same things as other survival games eating, drinking. But it does have a interesting slave thing you can capture people and make them work for you. I heard that it's a good roleplay game but I don't roleplay that much. The world I thought I was gonna like, but I just didn't like it, it was like islands, water and islands everytime I put down a house I just didn't like where it was. The graphic are okay I don't need great graphic so it didn't effect me. Music I didn't hear alot but there was this one song I liked. In general I got bored quick and I just didn't want to come back you might like it I'm sure it's fun with friends but I don't have any steam friends who have this game. The glitching, rubberbanding, lag (when you get in water it'll just freeze for like thirty seconds and by then you'll be on the other side of the island. I didn't really find a lot of other people because I was one a unpopulated server which is good and bad. Good because some poop nose won't kill you right when you start out and your helpless bad because it feels dead, but if you find a nice server then it'll probably be better. There are plenty of game modes and singleplayer (But whose gonna play singleplayer). I'm sure bugs will be fixed and I know the devs are trying. Not worth thirty dollars wait a for a sell. Summary not my kind of survival game, you might like it, buggy, not worth thirty dollars. It's a okay game in general I just think it gets boring in a 5-20 hours.
