After A Plague Tale: Innocence I was looking forward to meet Amicia and Hugo again. I've never seen a game transport such hearfelt love between siblings and you can't but feel being a De Rune throughout the whole campaign yourself.

It's a treacherous and dangerous adventure with a wonderful storytelling in the most diverse landscape. The pace keeps changing but never feels forced and the emotional rollercoaster it will put you through, will spit you out baffled. It is truly an ode to the fighting spirit, incessant hope and the love and care we share for those closest to us while uncovering secrets from the past to better understand our own future.

The story is linear and very well crafted, the characters are intriguing and delicate, the pacing is sometimes left to you and your will for exploration while other sections are so intense, they won't allow you to process what you just experienced because danger is all around. Loved every minute of it.
