this game is fine but the pc version has problems

issue 1: steam deck compatibility

it worked with origin using a command to skip the intro but due to the new ea launcher (thanks ea) you need to replace the .exe file now

issue 2: rivatuner

the game does not launch properly with rivatuner

i don't now why it does this but it means i can't check my framerate and cpu/gpu tempatures

issue 3: the crashes

i have not experienced this issue too much now but back when i bought this on steam it was crashing quite a bit (i bought it in 2020 and refunded it for the xbox version)

issue 4: privacy and streaming

it needs your webcam (if you have one) and that is a big privacy concern

i have also heard that this game messes with obs and other streaming and webcam capture software, i can't confirm this though


is the game fun?:

yes, it is very fun

should i get the pc version?:

if you are not a streamer or are not a privacy freak

you would probably still have issues

overall: good game (better on console)

(review score changed after less crashes from negative to positive)

great game, if you get this game use steam workshop (just like garrys mod) it makes the game more fun

Linux Warning: there are lots of shader cashes

not nearly as good as its sequel but good (it loses some points for weird windows compatibility though)

the animations are not good and the gameplay is mediocre at best (i bought it because i like trash sonic games) if you want a decent taste of sonic 4, get episode 2

good game probably the best sonic racing game


i just came for heavy though

its short but a good puzzle game

good game, 10 out of 10

(chapter 6 an 7 do get hard though)

Steam Workshop and Counter-Strike: Source are needed to enjoy this game
