If you are a fan of the D&D universe and its characters and are looking for something you can play in-between while doing something else, then you may want to try this. You reach a point early on when you can let the game run in the background most of the time and make progress by checking in every 1-2 hours or so. You even make progress while being offline, it just goes a lot slower.
It is free.

While there are a lot of offers for in-game purchases, you can make progress without buying anything (should that bother you).

While this is a clicking/idle game, for those who want to, there are little stories you can read. The characters are from all kind of different games and novels, and when you played the Infinity games you may meet some old friends.
Admittedly, the latest characters the devs added are their own player characters, but Jarlaxle, Minsc and some others are still there.

Not much to loose here. In the worst case, you simply get bored or loose interest after awhile.
