Summer Memories is a mini-game filled "Dating Sim" where you spend a summer (30~ days) with your voluptuous Aunt and Cousins. It is designed to be a H-Game filled with lewd scenes, so full enjoyment is dependent on downloading a patch from Kagura Games website (just make sure to download the correct one as the +DLC version has it's own patch).

The protagonist is a very slight and small boy you name yourself(according to disclaimers he is 18+ but that's likely just to avoid issues, he's clearly a shota). The main three love interests are the boy's Aunt and Cousins. To woo them you must raise their affection with you, and complete your homework assignments, each of which consist of their own unique minigames. Achieving specific milestones with each character unlocks the ability to do more and more lewd activities. You unlock new actions by buying them in a point store, which you acquire by unlocking "memories" by engaging in meaningful interactions.

The gameplay itself consists of moving through several locations where you see an isometric view of a room or place, in these views you can interact with characters or perform certain actions such as taking a nap, using a computer, or taking a bath. There also consists several mini-games, most of which use a bar which you click your mouse buttons to raise or let go to let it fall. Though the gauge concept is carried over through many mini-games the precise nature changes. In one you'll have to hit the spacebar when the gauge is at a correct answer, in another you must wash dishes, but not too vigorously or you'll break them, in a fishing game you have to keep your gauge location hovered over the fish catch icon. Other minigames consist of just collecting certain items of varying rarities and turning them in for a reward.

The game allows you to freely explore the main house, which has three bedrooms for each of the main love interests, a bathroom, toilet, living room, and kitchen. Outside the house you can visit a mountain, a river, a beach, a school, and a shop, each with their own unique characters and interactions that can get you special items or allow you to permanently increase your stats.

The main goal of the game is to create lasting memories with one (or all) of the three love interests across the 30 days of your summer. You are unlikely to achieve this objective in a single playthrough, but fortunately a New Game + option exists where you can carry forward your money, stats, items, and progress with the girls, making it possible to get the ending(s) you desire. In addition to the main three heroines, there are several side-heroines with distinct scenes you can unlock, usually by collecting certain items, or finishing certain mini-games.

The game itself is not too challenging, and there exists many skills and items to help make certain goals easier. While there are many stats and skills to keep track of, they aren't too difficult to understand after a single playthrough and you can pick up on the general idea quickly.

The H-Scenes are plentiful and varied. Some are full-screen explicit scenes with visual novel exposition, while others are sprite-work animations that occur in the environment itself, with options to move locations (within the area) and change to different positions you've unlocked. You expend Stamina and Lust as you progress those scenes, but can use items during it to prolong the event.

Overall it is a fun and enjoyable H-Game with plenty to do, lots of replayability, lots of secrets, and some interesting mechanics and good H-Scenes. As long as the main character's size (Age) doesn't bother you, it will probably be of interest.

The only cons I can think of for this game are A) the resolution, which is very small. You can maximize or go full screen but this just stretches the image. B) There's little variety in different character's body types. If you like busty thicc women then it's fine but every heroine has that body shape, even the side-characters. C) The translation feels like it took a lot of liberties, it uses certain terms and concepts that feel like they don't fit in the setting (like E-Thottery). Overall I don't find the cons enough to be an issue, and I would very much recommend this game to anyone who enjoys the style they see from the store page.

I review games with adult content and suggestive imagery. Check out my curator page here: Ecchi Games
