super fun gameplay loop, fun progression, neat lil roguelike that's well worth the asking price, it's a steal at any discount imo. love the commitment to the aesthetics of the classic Castlevania and lil nods to the eccentricities, looking forward to many more hours sunk as a way to decompress after work

jetpacks, conveyor belts, long sessions planning out your screw factory so you don't have to make a little one and whoops forgot to grab the iron plates better head back and oh yeah I have to process these leaves and then it's 1:30 AM. fun as hell.

One of those " 'I'll play for a few minutes' and then five hours later you realized you've missed your best friend's wedding, but who cares because I'm getting married to a girl who likes to eat rocks" games. 7/7 would eat quartz again.

I played the ♥♥♥♥ out of this on Xbox, and recommend it to those of you still living under a rock who haven't done so.

Don't let the slightly outdated graphics keep you away- this is still a great game for sailing the high seas and plundering for as much gold as you could want!

PLAY WITH A CONTROLLER. There's a bug I encountered playing with a keyboard that made jumping while moving up and to the left impossible, which made certain missions insanely difficult. This game is good, but it has some design flaws that can make it frustrating at times, however overall I like the premise, the story and the gameplay when it is difficult in a fair way.
