Yay! Gratz to the team on a 1.0 release.
Feels like it's a good time to write up a review as we move into the post release phase.

If you are an achievement hunter or someone who likes to complete games then HoT could be right up your alley. It's tough and punishing at the beginning when you're learning how to play. Gradually with unlocks and reps inside the halls you get better and better at achieving goals. Through item unlocks, blessings, potions, characters, and halls, the game has a ton of content for at least 50-100 hours depending on your skill level. Make that a lot more hours if you are committed to doing all of the quests. I personally wanted to complete this game, and I did a couple of times during the early access. However, the game has consistently grown with more things to do so I have fallen significantly behind on my 100% goal lol.

The newly added content with the 1.0 release seems really entertaining as well. I haven't played it yet as it released a few hours ago, but I am looking forward to diving back in.

I'd easily recommend this game to anybody who enjoys top down experiences. Especially those who enjoy this sort of "original Diablo 2-esque" art style (it's awesome). Even if you aren't familiar with the genre I find it incredibly hard to believe that you couldn't get at least $4.99 worth of time out of this game.

Short story that has beautiful art design and great voice acting / narration. Hope they add more onto this story soon!

This game is a lot like the first edition.

Is fun when you start to play. Grind gets repetitive. Game becomes old and you move on.

Let's be honest here. Who doesn't want to frag noobs? Game is so much fun and the price is outstanding. I really think this is the best game of 2012.
