Woo-hoo!
I played DuckTales: Remastered on my PlayStation 4 when it released in 2013, and was surprised by how much I still enjoy it now. As a remake of the classic NES game, it's short and fairly linear, but what it lacks in length, it more than makes up for in charm. The HD graphics are stunning, breathing new life into the old 8-bit sprites, and it's clear that a lot of love went into this remaster, respecting the original while enhancing it for modern audiences. The music is nostalgic and fits perfectly, and overall, the game runs smoothly on PC and Steam Deck. This is my first finished game on the Deck!

DuckTales: Remastered balances nostalgia with modern updates, and does it with ease!

For fans of the original or those who enjoy classic platformers, this is a must-play. The harder difficulty modes—especially extreme—offer a real challenge, so if you're up for it, prepare for a ride! While it’s not a long game, it’s well worth the experience.

Pros
+ Stunning HD Graphics
+ Respect for the Original
+ Challenging Difficulty Modes

Cons
- Short Length
- Linear Gameplay

As of right now, these games are unplayable on a 7800XT and that's a damn shame. These are absolute classics and they need to be treated as such. Fix these issues, Square Enix. Will update my review accordingly.

These games, and especially KH1 & 2, should be played at least once by every fan of JRPGs. You won't regret it.
I played them as a kid on PS2, as a teen on PS3 and really wanna experience them again on PC. They're that good.

The extremely engaging atmosphere can't make up for the tedious gameplay. The puzzles aren't fun and the platforming is clunky. Personally I can't recommend Little Nightmares at all and I don't get the raving reviews. Bleh.

Death Stranding is a truly unique game that draws players in with its unusual concept and captivating storytelling. Created by the visionary Hideo Kojima, it's surprising how such an unconventional idea can be so immersive and interesting.

From the moment you start playing, you're transported into a beautifully crafted world that feels both eerie and fascinating. The landscapes are stunning, drawing you in with their haunting beauty and attention to detail.

At its heart, Death Stranding is about making connections and exploring the unknown. As you journey through its expansive landscapes, you'll encounter challenges and dangers, but also moments of beauty and humanity.

What makes Death Stranding stand out is its ability to draw you into its story and characters. The voice acting is top-notch, and the cinematic presentation makes you feel like you're part of a movie. As you uncover the secrets of the world and meet its inhabitants, you'll find yourself becoming invested in their stories and struggles.

Despite its unusual premise, Death Stranding manages to be both engaging and rewarding. Whether you're trekking through the wilderness, delivering packages, or unraveling mysteries, every moment feels like an adventure.

Death Stranding is a game that pushes boundaries and challenges conventions, offering a unique and memorable experience for players. With its beautiful visuals, immersive world, and compelling storytelling, it's a journey you won't soon forget and I'm VERY psyched for the sequel that's supposed to release 2025!

As a fan of narrative-driven games and the show Rick and Morty, I began playing High on Life with high hopes. Those hopes were quickly crushed by the excessive dialogue, weak attempts at humor, and disappointingly linear gameplay.

One of my biggest issues with the game is the overwhelming amount of dialogue. Every interaction seems to drag on endlessly with unnecessary banter. A rich narrative can enhance your experience, but the amount of dialogue in this game does nothing more than butcher the pacing.

The humor often feels forced and out of place, so nothing like Rick and Morty. Most disappointing of all is the game's linear gameplay. I expected a lot of exploration and discovery, but players find themselves in a predetermined path fighting the same enemies over and over. The various weapons aren’t THAT different in terms of gameplay. You feel more like an observer than an active participant in the game world. And that’s not a bad thing in most games, but it definitely was in this one.

Although I haven't finished the game yet, I can clearly see that High on Life fails to live up to its potential. While there are certainly moments of enjoyment to be found, they are few and far between, buried beneath a mountain of mediocrity. This is a journey that players would be wise to skip or buy on sale. It definitely isn't worth 40 bucks.

Imagine a game that combines the best elements from games like Fallout, Outer Wilds, Return of the Obra Dinn, Skyrim and The Sexy Brutale.
Imagine a game oozing with nice (although sometimes unpolished and disappointing) visual style and design, with top notch writing and an immersive universe.
Imagine a game that can be played in multiple ways and begs to be replayed because your choices matter.
Imagine a game where action scenes are optional, and you’ll have to do detective work in different time loops.
Imagine having to explain Karen memes to a priestess in the Roman empire.
Imagine a game that is actually being polished by developers who listen to their players.
Imagine a game that started out as a Skyrim mod and is actually worth your time and money.

Now stop imagining and play it, prepare to be mesmerized. Go in completely blind.

Since Valve can’t count to three, this is the best solution to get your Portal fix. As a huge Portal fan I decided to try out this free game and it absolutely didn’t disappoint. The game, that’s actually a Portal 2 mod, is fully voiced which I didn’t expect! It’s extremely hard to solve these time travel courses but that’s part of the fun. Could as well be paid DLC. Absolutely recommend.

Should you play Splitgate? Absolutely. So far this has been a great game from what I played during the beta. Most fun I’ve had with a FPS in a long time. And it’s free as well!

I missed the golden age of arena shooters when Quake and Halo were extremely popular. Splitgate is one of the first arena shooters I’ve played and I’m dying to explore the genre even more.
The gameplay is simple and very satisfying. Portals are an interesting addition to an FPS if implemented correctly (that’s the case in Splitgate). Using a portal for travel can be advantageous to you and your team and can also be very rewarding in terms of triple/quad kills.

Just think carefully about where you’re placing your portals, strategy is an important factor here but you don’t really need it to win. Having teammates who understand the portal mechanics are equally valuable.

What I like most about this game is that there aren't any classes, perks, pay to win elements, or cheesy abilities. Every player has the same tools, so it all comes down to your skill at FPS's and your teams ability to strategize.

Conclusion
If you're sick if battle royale games, rehashed war games, and crave a new, arena style shooter, with a classic feel, play this one.

Pros
+ original gameplay
+ free to play
+ portals

Cons
- still in beta at the time of writing

This might as well be the best racing game I’ve ever played. Unfortunately, my Steam version had network issues and slight stuttering when entering races. If you’ve got a game that somewhat relies on online features, make sure they work properly. My Xbox version works perfectly, so I had to refund this one. With situations like these, I wish steam had a “partly recommended” button

+
Amazing graphics
Fun gameplay
DLC that offers lots of different cars
Large variety in races & customization
-
Noteworthy issues on Steam
Steep price for a game that’s a couple years old
Pricey DLC as well
