After spending some time with the game, I can see the appeal to the most extreme of Fallout junkies. However, there are too many rough edges and points of frustration for me to continue sinking time into it on a regular basis.

Here are my top 3 annoyances with the game:

1. The UI is bizarre. From joining/leaving teams to trying to use the map, it feels remarkably unintuitive. Even after almost 80 hours of play I still find myself fumbling with workstations and trying to craft or repair items.

2. Requiring caps for fast travel is irksome; there's probably some game designer with a clever reason for it, but I don't have to like it. As a player I want to explore without hinderance.

3. The complete lack of any ability to pause the game or save is rage-inducing. I often have to let my dog out or take care of errands around the house in the middle of play. The single player experience was way better for a person that has a life outside of the game. I am aware that I can shell out some absurd amount of money for a single player experience. But let's be real; it should be free for single player and a sub fee for multi-player like other games.

Those that don't mind these kinds of annoyances will have a great time. The notion of a multi-player fallout world sounded enticing when the game was announced, but frankly, I sorely miss the single-player FO experience.

If you hit an enemy in the face 4x with an anti-tank gun you might possibly kill them. 11/10.

For those expecting a true remake of the original RE3, you're going to be really disappointed. The game is fairly linear and the appearances from Nemesis are no exception.

However, if you can get over the significant differences between the original RE3 and this game, there are some aspects that are enjoyable. The gunplay feels identical to the RE2 remake and the visuals are impressive.

Unfortunately it's a remarkably short experience, which means that I can't recommend paying full price for the game. For $20 or less, I would recommend it, but certainly not full price.

For some reason I enjoyed Far Cry 4 a lot more than this entry in the franchise. Not a bad game by any stretch of the imagination, but it's not nearly as fun as its predecessor. Consider buying if you're a dedicated FC fan or if the sale price makes it cheap.

As a long-time Terminator fan, this is the Terminator 3 plot that we deserved. I'd consider the game a must-buy for die-hard fans. The game nailed the aesthetic and atmosphere of the future as portrayed in T1 and T2 while delivering a satisfying Terminator plotline.

For those that just want a game to play but aren't that connected with the Terminator franchise, maybe pick it up when it's on sale and give it a try. As a game it's okay, but most of the pay-off here is in the connection to the Terminator franchise.

One of the better pieces of horror narration I've experienced in recent years. The game has a distinct means of storytelling and a distinguished visual style.

My only complaint would be the excess of blinky lights, z-fighting, and other disorienting effects used in the storytelling. Multiple times throughout the game I felt like I was on the verge of having a stroke or a migraine. While the game warns users about sensitivity to flashing lights or other visual stimuli, THEY REALLY, REALLY MEAN IT.

There's so much to see and do that it's a shame not to explore this world Bethesda has created for the player.
