Resident Evil 7 can occasionally frustrate with excessive boss fights and patronizing puzzles, but it's still a scary and violent blast of survival horror that paints a bright future for the franchise. Bloody, tense, and exciting throughout, Resident Evil 7 is exactly what the series needed.

Dota is the one game that SIMULTANEOUSLY challenges me in many different ways at the same time. Dota requires planning, strategizing, team work, solo plays, item building, real time action, map awareness at all times, sharing of vital resources within the team, deciding what to prioritize in a given situation, reaction to opponents and a whole host of other things.

In other words, its the ultimate game. Most people that play Dota, play Dota nigh on forever for this reason. Even if they quit, they watch professional matches because it is so entertaining. Other games are simply unnecessary because this one game will challenge you in so many ways, forever. Plus, you make loads of friends both local and international. I can saunter to many countries and have my Dota buddies host me there, no rent!

To make the deal sweeter, its not a static game. There are patches every few months that change the meta, the characters or the items. The game keeps refreshing itself. There is a thriving pro scene, and pro games are broadcast like sports is on TV.

See, some people like brutal, hard, difficult and challenging games because it allows us to earn our victories. There are no shortcuts, and the only thing in Dota that you can change is your skill level. Period. This ensures that when you do get better and execute things correctly, you know you made it happen.

Once you get skills, the successes are very rewarding. The dopamine hits from this game are so intense, its like having an orgasm. You can dream about moves you made for months - I have heard golf players talk about dreams of good swings and I think its similar. Other times, things can go so well sometimes you can feel like a God in game. This happens because you KNOW that your improved skills or superior teamwork caused that to happen, and not any quirk of the game or reward for being and old timer or unlocking some random weapon or talent. I cannot imagine how intense a high it must have been to pull this off -
