We played Adios with my husband. It was a contemplative experience, I spent a good chunk of it just walking around the farm, making sure I did everything (I haven't). The voice acting is superb, especially the pig farmer's. Loved certain narrative devices and mechanics.

Adios is not perfect. There was a particular, if amusing, bug during the goat scene where the goat of the other guy did not spawn or got stuck or something, so he was milking the empty air. Later on I found his goat just standing there in the shed, devoid of motion of purpose.

The prop physics are janky. I had to witness the knife flying across the kitchen several times.

All in all, fantastic game, highly recommend! Also, support the developer!

Scratches a similar itch that Tetris would, but with a unique twist, cool music, and ability to customize colors!

Lovely and relaxing game, with reactive and soothing soundtrack. If you like Islanders and/or Dorf Romantik, this is in a similar style of game. Only instead of building cities/villages, you nourish the plants within abandoned ruins, until nature overtakes what remains of us.

I think I haven't played a game that has sparked and captured my imagination quite like this one. In a sense, this game is similar to a book in how all you have is just the text, with your mind creating visuals as you read. It's minimalistic visuals, use of color, sound design, and music have created a perfect mix, just enough information for your head to do the rest and imagine the world of Gliese 667Cc. Reading about alien flora and fauna never was so engaging, and the pay off of finding samples is adding more pieces of the puzzle to your evolving sense of the world.

Music and story have left me deeply melancholic and contemplative.

Disappointing.
The save mechanic makes no sense in the light of obligatory escape sequences.
The story is spoon-fed and regurgitated by the narrator without you having to think.
Motivations of the characters are invalidated by the end.
Narrator's voice is highly annoying.
The supposedly 'emotional' scene at the start feels incredibly shallow, mostly ruined by the narration, and the very obvious attempt at tear-jerking with 'emotional' music.
Level-design is unimaginative and makes all areas feel and look the same.
Exploration is unrewarding and uninteresting. Despite literally showing you where to go, it makes you lost on the way without clear indicator if the area you stumbled in is too early for you, or you're just bad at the game and can't progress.
After you get all upgrades, which are very basic and largely not game-changing, need to keep track of your health or energy completely disappears.
The combat is beyond plain with the ability to shoot anything without having to even aim, and even after you get the Bash ability, there's very little reason to not result to clicking your enemy to death.
Sequences where you need to carry an item, that strips you from all of your ability kit, leaving you with basic jump, felt incredibly frustrating and out of place.

Enchanting souls-esque experience with amazing music, artstyle, and story. Well-executed game systems contribute to a great metroidvania experience, all complete with breathtaking aesthetics.
