You have scrolled down here because... well... you're not sure whether or not it's worth it, right?

So you look at the screenshots, watch the trailers, reviews here, on youtube, maybe check out a let's play video or two just to get a feel for what the game offers, correct?

What those things are unable to convey, however, is the actual 'feel' for the game, my review included.

So essentially any point I try to make is pretty much moot...

...BUT....

...what I CAN tell you is that, after only 46 minutes my verdict is 'yes! Buy it!'. It's charming, nostalgic, beautiful, relaxing, and fun. Now, in my advanced age of thirty-two years, I can't relate to what is hip these days, with your Fortnite's and your Apex Legends-es, or trendy new-fangled AR Pokemon games on hip phones. But I have played a fair few games in my life, and dabble in indie development as a 3D environment artist, so I might just know enough to realize when developers are passionate about what they're creating...

...and it absolutely shows. It was a toss up between Stardew Valley and Kynseed around the same price for me. But somehow the more water-colour type art style, multi-generational aspect, and potential for a more well-rounded game spanning several genres spoke to me more when it came to Kynseed. It's absolutely fantastic so far, and I can't wait to see what direction the devs take with it!

Well worth it in my opinion!
