UPD: they actually did something to improve the situation... wow

More than 10 years since the original review, I still play it from time to time. Not only is the game not dead yet, but it's also somehow surviving all of Valve's attempts to intentionally kill it. However, it's unknown how long it will last in such a state. I can't imagine how determined you need to be to start playing it when the game is in this condition. The state of this game is the biggest proof that you shouldn't trust Valve. "Valve Corporation" is synonymous with "unreliable" nowadays, unlike it was 10 years ago. Yet, it’s still the best class-based shooter game so far.

It's heartbreaking to leave a negative review for a game that was a huge part of my life. It was always there to cheer me up in bad moments and share good moments. I've found a lot of good friends here. This game motivated me to do things that later helped my career.
