Solid sequel, I've been enjoying this game more than the first one. Plenty of stuff going around that keeps on entertaining the player. The gameplay had also been improved, giving some kind of RPG elements and interactions during combat.

The iconic (short) source mod that has been revamped with new models/textures and recently with new sequences. It's worth trying, even if you or if you haven't played it before. Little to no jump scares, at least from my experience.

Early Access Review
Don't buy, it's not fleshed out yet and the gameplay feels janky as heck.

My main issue with this game is the horrible networking. It acts normal once you are alone until you meet up with others and experience horrible delays with hits not registering on the zombies. Sometimes the zombies just freeze for a moment after hitting them before they'd react again.

The issues listed by their loyal players also did not get addressed which is disappointing.

I've played it before and coming back after beating Sons of the Forest, I'd say this game (despite the old release) is better than the second one. It matches the horror and survival aspect perfectly.

Creatively, you can make unrestricted custom buildings which are far better than SotF. Everything can be built with simple blueprints and you don't need to waste any efforts doing so. Build the stuff you like, no one's stopping you. Trees are less dense on this game, thus you can find a suitable spot to make a base. Also the whole map is roughly 70% smaller than the map in SotF, thus you can explore all the things in just a few hours.

There is no negative thing I can think of. I played the whole game on Hard Survival (highest difficulty) and managed to get through the story just fine, even if the enemies were a bit spongey. Plus, you can outrun them and they will lose their track easily.

The game is good, it's not the best, but it's enjoyable. It features some of the elements that "The Forest" already had, slapped in with some cool animations and more items.

There are some downsides, but the major one being the enemies which in my case were kept spawning and won't stop attacking you. Even if you manage to take a lot of them down, they won't get frightened (unlike "The Forest" which they retreated after seeing their allies wasted), thus they keep on attacking you. The experience gets worse once you settled a base since every 10 minutes or so, they show up to your base.

This game was (very) enjoyable and had an unique story going. Played it on my Deck and had little to no issues with it.

I highly recommend it, if you prefer horror/survival type of games mixed with anime.

Even for an old game, the gameplay was enjoyable with all the settings being put into it. It's more of a strategy (or CRPG) type of game where you'd have to make few moves before the enemies attack.

Without any mods or community fixes, my experience with it was decent. Overall there were some issues I saw, but it didn't affect me as much during my blind playthrough. As I said earlier, the game was enjoyable and I loved the post-apocalyptic setting that they put out.

This game doesn't justify the 60€ price tag with its FOMO battle pass system and the above mediocre PvPvE gameplay.

The models/suits look great nonetheless.

The game lives at its peak with lots of story content, lots of customizations and classes, various alternative possibilities, modding support and outstanding visual style. It feels longer and an upgrade compared to Divinity OS2.

There's nothing negative I can point out other than some minor bugs that usually occurs.

The game is fun for a couple of hours until it starts to get stale and repetitive. Same issue on Dead by Daylight.

Matchmaking in the other hand is not great either. You'll team up with skilled players whilst being very new to the game.
