Love this game. Completed it twice.
Amazing characters, gripping story, interesting camp development and battles, hard choices and their consequences. Absolute must try for any witcher universe fan. Card gamers and pretty much anyone else can try, for what it's sold these days it's a steal.

Early Access Review
It has familiar heroes and villains, it has cool mechanics, archetypes and nice randomness element with locations. It seems great.
I'd rate it really high if it wasn't so ”pay to win”. Every battle pass there is a card that shapes the meta and you only gain it by buying the battle pass (or by hoarding collector's tokens which could take months and waiting for the BP season to end and hope it appears in your token shop). While all the amazing money paying users enjoy the broken cards as they last, and then the devs "fix" them to lower their global winrate stats.
Aside from BP part of pay to win there is also a "resources" part. In this game you can buy "gold bars" for real money and normally you can use gold bars to buy "packs", that is some cosmetics like an avatar, a variant of a card and a bit of "credits" which are used to upgrade card quality and for upgrading cards you gain the most important thing - collection progression, a normal person's way of obtaining new cards.
Not sus until you know you can buy collection progress with "credits" that you buy with "gold" which is bought for real money; and recently I've seen another pack in the shop that had both "credits" and "TOKENS". Remember with tokens you straight up buy the card that appeared in your token shop, while to get cards with credits you need to upgrade cards, for which you also need boosters and when you up the CL you get a random card that you don't have, so credits are inferior to tokens in the matter of getting cards.

Basically money gives you more and stronger cards and personally I think this is a huge stain on this otherwise pretty cool game. Money should only get you cosmetics in games, not give you the upper hand.

Conclusion:
  • If you have a ton of money that you don't have anything better to do with - this is a game for you, the balance is yours, you'll always have the good stuff in time.
  • If you're an F2P bum but you really like Marvel and card games - to not get your feelings hurt just know that sometimes it's better to recognize the glorious BP user and quickly forfeit because the BP user is a better gamer and is more valuable for the dev than you.

visually it's nice but I have a feeling that this game is deeply "pay to win". out of interest I continued to queue many times in a row in tank arcades and plane arcades, for the first couple of games you'll have teams with 1-2 real players and rest will be bots, to give you a sensation of achievement from killing a bot and getting to upgrade your first vehicle;
later you start getting into games with full teams of real players and honestly it's like every single payed user has a 10x advantage over you, while still queuing with you. (occasionally you'll be thrown in a team with op players vs non premium newbies, just so you won't have a 0% winrate, but ofc you can clearly see that it's not your impact that brought the victory but the payed users).
it's like a game dev tells you directly "you need to pay to get balance", this strategy is bad especially to a game with potential.
make a balanced mm and you'll get players buying premium because they like the game not because they can't play properly without it.

A very diverse game: you can choose a role and stick to it or try and change the roles on the go. You can limit your hero pool to minimum and never experience the same things game after game because of the difference in other players' play styles and pools and constantly changing meta.

+ If you are into dynamic strategy and team based games then Dota 2 is a good game for you. I'd recommend playing with friends, even a small party with voice chat makes a big difference.

- If your life values expand from gaming to real social interactions, spending time outside with your friends, and/or doing sports, then better approach dota with care since it is quite addictive. Playing solo makes it worse. IMHO.

8/10
