Hooray catboys! As a fan of the Nekopara series (woo Maple <3) I knew I'd enjoy this, and I was absolutely right! I loved each of the different boys, their designs are fabulous, and the whole aesthetic of the game is super pretty.

Sure, it's short and it stops right at the point where any possible interest might be shown between MC & LI, but it's free and honestly it was perfect as an introduction into each of the catboys, and now I'm just left hoping for more... pleeeeeaaase!! I'd gladly pay to know more about the boys, and to actually sample some of that catboy loving xD

Fingers crossed the game does well enough (If the storepage is anything to go by, it seems to have done good) and we get another game (or 2... *hint hint*) as a series!!

Also, please please please can we get trading cards... I need me some quality catboy backgrounds!!!

Ooh boy where to begin? First off let me start by saying, when this game came out and I saw that our beloved Kiryu would not be the main protagonist, I instantly binned it off as one that I wouldn't be playing. Well after some time, I'm so thankful I stumbled across a lets play on youtube and stopped to watch an episode, because from there I was very much intrigued.
I had no idea (before seeing the lets play) that it was turn based, and let me tell you, I know there are a lot of people out there who absolutely hate that this game is turn based, but I for one freaking love it. Sure, i'll admit it takes a little away from the feeling you get when playing the other yakuza games, but then I generally just button smash in those anyway. With this I feel I can better plan out my fights, and actually take the time to learn and progress through. I think if we'd still been playing as Kiryu then yes, the turn based fighting wouldn't feel right, but Ichiban is not Kiryu, and due to his personality and interests he suits this levelling, job based system, at least in my opinion.
Speaking of Ichiban, what a character. At first I thought he was just some ridiculously loud, daft dude that annoyed me with just how freaking loud he was. Now however I love him to bits and he's just the sweetest, most loyal, softest lil yakuza bean out there xD
Yes, at times he's still loud and dense, but I honestly don't mind it because it's just who he is, and I can look past it now and see how much his character has come along and helped so many people as he's progressed through his story. And I do really like the overall story of this game (I haven't finished yet, but I just know I am going to bawl my eyes out at some point) and I also love the different characters that join up with Ichiban, Zhao buddy I'm looking at you!! <3 The dynamic between Ichi and his friends is fun and I enjoy running around the map with them nattering on at me, or taking them out for food or drinks, or even to the cinema!

I've only sunk around 100 hours into the game so far, and I've yet to fight a certain Mad Dog (I know he's coming up, I spoiled it for myself) and I'm actually quite happy grinding away to make sure I don't struggle too much in that fight, and that in itself is something, because this type of grinding usually gets boring pretty quickly for me, but so far in this game I'm having a blast going through and getting new gear and trying to complete all of the side stories and mini games on my way through.
I honestly could gush about this game for ages. For something that I said I would never play, I'm so bloody glad I picked it up and gave it a chance, because everything so far has blown me away with how fun it's been, from the combat, the bonds/relationships, the job system, the location itself, it all feels really well done and of course the Japanese voice acting is top notch as usual. Plus, it's rather pretty to look at, which is a big plus to me.

Do I recommend this game? Heck yes I do!
Is the turn based aspect any good? For me yes, I think it works, but that is a HUGE personal opinion and it definitely will not appeal to everyone, as we all know.
Is there a decent story to it? Yes I believe there is.
Is it worth the money? Yes. Admittedly, I didn't buy the game off steam, as I was having a tight wad moment xD but I do believe it's worth it, if you have doubts about whether you'd enjoy it, maybe wait until it goes on sale, but at least if you buy it off steam you can refund!

Don't hold off from this gem of a game, do it for Ichiban <3

Admittedly Yakuza 3 isn't the greatest game in the series, especially if we compare it to 0 (which I try not too) but I still enjoyed a large percentage of it -the orphanage stuff is ok, and I know it's part of Kiryu's life, I'm just not a kid person so I found that aspect of it a bit boring, although it is sweet seeing the big 'scary' Dragon of Dojima interact with his kids!

Despite it looking and feeling a tad dated, (those graphics are a little funky, and the fighting/controls feels off for most of it), it's still a fun game to play and the side quests and mini games really help to flesh it out nicely, along with giving it that wacky charm we know and love from the series. I've completed the main story (and hoo boy did I cry at that ending) and I still have a lot left to complete, so it's definitely got plenty of hours worth of game time to it.

I'd say if anyone is considering playing number 3, go for it if you can get it when it's on sale (or in the bundle like I did) but it's not really necessary to play it in order to understand the series as a whole, it's just nice to add it to the collection I guess!
I mean seeing Majima is a big plus so, you could buy it just for that <3

This game is one of the best I've played. I can go back to it over and over and discover new things each time, especially with the Devs wonderful updates!!
I still haven't gotten all of the achievements or done everything there is to do, and that's fine because its so much fun to take it at your own pace, and play as you wish! Really recommend this to anyone!

I'll admit when Destiny 2 first came out, I played it for a little while and then got a bit bored. It felt so much like the first Destiny and all in all I found after the initial rush wore off it was just a bit meh.
I've come back to it now with the launch of Shadowkeep and I'm so glad I did. I don't really know what's changed, whether it's me or the game, but I'm having a much better time this go round.
I can't seem to get enough of running around the beautiful planets (and they really are beautiful, I find myself very often stopping just to admire the scenery), blasting ♥♥♥♥ with shotguns, collecting all kinds of items, and running events/activities with others. Maybe I'll get bored again, but as it stands right now there's a ton of stuff to keep any gamer occupied, and I can certainly recommend it, even if it's just to give it a go.

Eagerly awaiting the new season :D
