I have some mixed feelings, and at the same time, I praise Ninja Theory for the effort and the work they have put into creating a game that pushes boundaries as they bet on a concept that few other developers would venture. Video games as an interactive form of media, help us as gamers to deep-dive into the stories and experiences they bring along with them.

What Ninja Theory does is very experimental, and as I said, this can become risky in terms of how well received it will be by your usual video game player. This game heavily focuses on the story, visuals and sound design. There isn't much to get engaged to if what you are looking for is your usual cup of tea. What this game will give you (and Senua's Sacrifice too) are experiences you must observe and try to feel with curiosity.

Some of the criticisms given to this sequel are quite valid. The game is short (like the previous one), it has a high price tag and some previous aspects seen in Senua's Sacrifice aren't quite the same. Storywise, some things could have been improved with the plot, but ultimately, I do recommend this game because of what its developers are trying to achieve. The amount of different people involved, from mental health professionals, to sound designers and even people who suffer from psychosis, give this game a unique appeal.

Although not perfect, the game will deliver. I hope that by supporting these kinds of projects, the industry will give more room for creatives and developers to experiment with mental health in video games while delivering worthwhile, impactful experiences that will bring us closer to empathising with situations which are foreign to most of us. I believe Ninja Theory will manage to round up what they have learned with these two games to keep on building on what they have achieved so far.

I won't lie that when this game came out I felt let down. I followed its development for years in the making and couldn't help but feel sad when it flopped. I never had so many issues as others stated, but the amount of bugs was just too visible. The game is now more stable and overall, I do recommend it. I am sure CDPR will keep pouring the love it deserves to make this into a true gem in due time, so go get if its on sale!

Amazing game with a compelling story. Arkane Studio's does an amazing job on the franchise's continuation. And the artwork? Between the best I've seen around.

I completely recommend this game. Although it's a short one, this game has much to offer regarding an immersive and colorful story. It broadens your knowledge of psychopathology, regarding schizophrenia specifically, like few games I've tried have done. Completely worth it.

Interesting story and analysis provoking, though this game could have been much better... I played it just for 3 hours and achieved its goal. Wouldn't play it again.
