A good Borderlands game. Pick it up if you enjoyed the first two. Otherwise it has some issues with hamfisted characters and sometimes, horrible quest design that barely justify the current price. Wait and grab it on sale if you can. There are a number of other freshly-released and compelling rpgs in the store that truely deserve your wallet's attention.

As it stands I would not recommend this game.

The first playthrough is over 6 hours. This shouldn't be a discouragement, however. The game fills those with beautiful audio and visual elements like it's predecessor, Bastion. $20 may not seem like it's worth such a short amount of time, but in that time you could fill it with perhaps 3 movies for the same price if not more. The mechanics are incredibly fun and flexible, though the UI can be abit clunky. Some combinations of skills may seem perfect, but that perfection is balanced on each person's playstyle and desire to push the level of skill vs fun. An incredibly good game, all in all.

A good game. Simply put. Play it and enjoy it.
