There's no way to be negative about this game, it's a solo dev indie game that is just good and the price is on point.
The gameplay loop is basically getting the weapons you like and boosting their stats till you die, enemies don't stop getting spongier but you won't stop getting stronger.
The enemy variety is pretty big and overall okey but crows and the freezing demons are eh, crows you can literally out walk and there's a cap to how many can spawn at the time, the freezing demons are such an annoyance being able to slow down your movement in a split second by shooting freeze at you or emitting it in AoE attack, tho so far it felt like other enemies couldn't take advantage of that so idk.
Graphics just work I guess, they're not amazing lookign but also there was an effort put into creating the world, the nice part is how with each boost to the weapon it looks more powered up.

The only complaint I have really are the meele weapons, the hit registration can be finnicy and I'm too sure if you can hit multiple enemies at once, close combat feels overall too risky soo I'm not too sure what's the point of them in the game and the perk that boost your meele dmg that will be useless in few rounds on hard difficulty.

So overall not that bad, is pretty fun and worth the price right now, it's a well realized passion project.

Ok, so for like 10 minutes staright my camera was spinning to the left and I just thought it was a gaming mechanic but after figuring out IT WASN'T, it turned out that somehow the controller was at fault, even after I started the game and plugged it in.
So definitely some weird bug you have there.

"I had to change my review from negative to positive just because I gotta really eat my words and say that the new update is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good and I haven't even played it yet lmao."

I still like it very much but the way Devs handle everything stinks of Behaviour-esque treatment towards the game they're trying to make and their newly based playerbase.

It's like they're doing a "pretty good job" but at the same time they take few steps back JUST BECAUSE THEY WANT TO.

Btw you should have added feature where AAS or ARC have at least 3 different set ups of mutators just so people could have more freedom in choosing what they want to play.
(could obviously be a good way to collect data that way but what do I know.)

I still like playing this game but it's kinda hard when the game crashes half the time bc my 16gb gpu and 32gb of ram don't have enough memory or whatever v:

Just daddy Sony to sprinkle more cash and staff to you or explain how you're game might die b4 it gets good.

it's still really underbaked, the world seems pretty dead? it's so open which is cool but at the same time there's soo little npcs even on overpopulated, there is a lot of small bugs that just add up, sounds cutting out or complete silence, sounds in weird places that don't fit but some also feel like mini easter eggs so idk.

NPCs are just meh, I can literally start a killing spree in the middle of town and they will just stand there doing nothing for seconds or longer.
I'll wait till they cook longer in the oven.

Ok, I am a fan of this series, played every game and like them very much and I like this game, it's pretty moody and nice to look at but there's soo many things and design choices that I just question.
-Combat is unpolished, melee just feels bad, you can faze through zombies accidentally which results in getting hurt, fighting groups is awfull because of how the survivor just launches in the horde and I just don't get why I can't swing my weapon and keep a safe distance. Shooting either works or it doesn't, sometimes I can hit perfectly fine and other times I miss at point blank distance, shooting through barricades also is broken and I couldn't shoot zombified children behind them.
-Inventory managment, why can't carry more than 1 drug for the infection? Why can't I dump whatever I have in my inventory into the car and grab whatever I want through the stops? Why can't I just drop items and pick them up later?
If I could just leave stuff in my car they would return to the base which would be pretty cool.
-I dislike how quickly zombies respawn, the stops are really quick so why even bother having them respawn.
-Fat zombies are annoyingly hard to kill when compared to the normal ones.
-I would be fine with how quickly the drug wears off but since I can't hold more than 1 vial at a time it forces me to use it because I might not encounter another one at the next stop or I might not be able to fight for it.
-Melee weapons break really fast, which makes feek like I need to collect every plank I find, I also don't get why makeshift knuckledusters weight more than a pipe, weight 4 vs 3, what sense does it make.
-the UI is just meh, I found out only now that there's more categories to put knowledge points in.
