Haven't played it a great deal of time, but it's a very relaxing and chill game. Having spent quite a bit of time in Japan, this game feels very much like there. Give it a try :)

I've loved this game for years. It showed that the crime sim could still be fun. And then Deep Silver/Volition broke it and it got sucked into the EGS space. Sadly, I guess I'll never be able to play it again because if the Epic Launcher or an Epic account is required to run it, then the game may as well be dead. Do not buy it. Do not play it. A once great franchise has died. It's sad. But there it is.

Honestly, give it a pass. I didn't get too far into it. It dumped my first save and just forgot I played. Feels meh.

The game itself is fantastic. It's fun, pretty and an amazing soundtrack. However, the developers are less so. More than six years ago a Linux version was promised. Many many many people bought it during one of the original Humble Indie Bundles. Sadly, six years later. Nothing. Broken promises. Abandonment.

So, the game is great. Yet, I'm not sure if I can recommend it though. Some would say, "So what, what's the big deal?". I'm not sure I can recommend giving money to a developer who broke so many promises seemingly just so they could move on to the next game. It's doubtful anyone will even read this. Either way, sadly I can't recommend it because of the reasons given. If that doesn't bother you, get it. It is fun. That's what makes the broken promises so sad.

Randomly dropped support for Linux users. Not cool. Like a lot of people, I was only willing to buy this game because it had native support. I'd even recommended it to others based on that fact along with the interesting game idea. While it is still an interesting game, I personally can't recommend a game that turns its back on existing customers like this.

Am I posting this because of the OpenIV thing? Why yes, yes I am. It isn't the only reason. While the game does have a good story and such the online component is honestly full of micro-transaction garbage and now TakeTwo has pulled the crap they pulled with OpenIV. Give it a pass. Get Saint's Row 3 or 4 and remember when this kind of game was fun.

Attempts to play a Ubi/Uplay game for the first time. Locked out of game because Uplay is down. Well, isn't that lovely. -.-
