the fps drops to the teens upon the 2nd wave of enemies. the first wave is maybe 2-3 or so. so you get to fight only a couple enemies until the game becomes unplayable. as it stands i cant recommend this until its fixed. if this gets fixed ill update my review

a recent update has fixed the issue and the game is much more enjoyable now

in short.....its meh. i got this game for $10 so i didnt bother returning it and there is some enjoyment to be had. if you find it on sale for around that price then pick it up, otherwise do not buy this at full price as its not worth it.

i might be fun, it might not. idk. i have the quest 2 and the controls are so bad i cannot get through the main menu/tutorial. idk how anyone could design this game and release it in good faith knowing it doesnt work. i requested a refund. just do not buy this game.

how? i mean how does a video game company put this out with some of the most ridiculous controls known to man kind? it it just absolutely nonsensical and embarrassing. just skip this crap

its like ready or not in vr. its a really great game and the vr experience is handled very well. the weapons are accurate to their real life counter parts which is pretty cool also. a lot of fun to be had here

you have to mod this game as vanilla is horrible.

that said this is probably the best vr game ive played since half life alyx. its hard to find other games like this. the vr experience is incredible and well worth your time

it is dreadfully boring. you play for maybe 5 minutes at a time, hit a loading screen, and then stand and listen to people talk. rinse and repeat.

you also cant change the controls at all which is ridiculous. when it comes to the shooting it feels so bad. how you mess that up in a ww2 vr shooter idk. the weapons are way too close to your face when you are aiming and reloading them is done almost automatically. you just bring the magazine up to the weapon and it loads itself. its so dumb.

i requested a refund. i love medal of honor and was excited to play this but i hate to say it, you should skip this one and hope they learn from their mistakes.

if this is the final product i would hate to have seen what it was like before.

this game was nothing but a frustrating experience from start to finish. to start with you get stuck on every piece of geometry on the ground. things like small dents in the ground, stairs, general debris ect. its the equivalent of walking towards a curb and instead of stepping up on it you hit it with your foot.

this happens constantly in the game world and is really bad on stairs as each star is its own physical thing. so you end up constantly stuttering up flights of stairs. it really hurts the movement. honestly idk what they were thinking with this.

archery is absolutely worthless. for one you cannot properly aim the bow. you can draw it but holding it up to your face to get an accurate shot results in the bow moving around your head as your player body is a physical thing. so you simply cannot use the bow properly at all. i dont understand the logic with this and it makes me wonder if this was even play tested at all because as it stands the bows are truly useless.

finally the game is still buggy. performance is horrid but thankfully with some tweaking you can get it steady. that said there were moments where i just fell through the map and died. when you die you have to start all over again from the beginning.

now that wouldnt be so much of an issue if you didnt have to experience all of these problems over and over again. so you can see how this game can become a very frustrating experience.

as it stands, skip this one. or wait another year or so in case these issues get fixed. in the mean time im requesting a refund. there is no enjoyment to be had here.

well, theres fun to be had however you cant change the controls. so if you are used to using different buttons to grab items you either have to adjust or just wait for an update. as it stands since you cant change the controls its hard to recommend. that said, its still in early access so im sure they will fix this.

its trash. i cant understand why bother making a vr game and not take advantage of the immersion. you cant reload the weapons yourself, thats done automatically. theres no option to change this that i could find.

thats if you can even enter the options. selecting anything is nearly impossible. you think you would 'shoot' to select the menu or tap with your finger but no, you have to sort of put your hand through the menu to select what you want.

also there is no head tracking, only hand tracking. and once again you cant change this either.

its a lousy game. dont get this. its trash and insulting to even put it on vr.
