♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ classic, if you couldn't get this on the Dreamcast or PS2 when it was current, get it now.

Be warned there's a few issues right now-- XBOX controllers may need fiddling with Windows settings (in your control panel, under the devices section, right click your gamepad, properties, and make sure older games are set to use your controller), some music occasionally restarts in town, and sound effects are way too loud. Assuming they'll patch that pretty quickly though, it's not a big deal.

Early Access Review
Great game when I first bought it, but a recent patch having introduced a frankly inconvenient and unfun mechanic (corpses) in a game that's already dangerously RNG and frustration prone makes me have to change my review. If you hate yourself or play nothing but difficult and frustrating games that function off high risk low reward, you'll still love this game, but if you're a casual gamer or generally don't enjoy RNG-driven difficulty spikes then avoid this for now.

This IS a fun game, but it could really use a difficulty toggle that doesn't penalize your gains so much that playing on easy actually makes you suck more in the long run, since you gain less loot and gold, for only a small decrease in difficulty.

The game would greatly benefit from letting you play on easy for the first few dungeons you run and clear, and then gradually ramping up the reward curve for playing on hard so as to incite you to get comfortable and increase difficulty at your own pace. But also, it would benefit from easy being easier. As it is right now it really is just a self-imposed penalty on gains for only a tiny decrease in difficulty, and RNG can still totally screw you over anyway.

TL;DR: Easy mode not easy enough, imposes huge penalty for almost no gain, especially combined with RNG. Latest patches have been pandering to the vocal minority asking for a harder more tedious game, alienating casual players. Game desperately in need of a game mode to separate players.

I used this about three months ago when my ISP was having issues reaching WoW's servers without 2000+ ping. It got me banned for a day and a half (the time it took to contact Blizzard support, prove my account was fine, etc).

Would not recommend unless you're using it for a game with no AUTOMATED security systems. The ads say it's safe, but it's still a gamble on whether or not an automated system notices your IP change and flags you.

An extremely dumbed down Final Fantasy Tactics experience. Worth it if you can get it at a discount, but would not pay the full 15$ for it unless you're addicted to tactical RPGs.

Music is decent, offset by the average character artwork and sprites. Class system is interesting but fairly crippled by the inability to truly multiclass or have more than 6 skills equipped. Game would be a lot better if you could have more than 5 characters in your active party too, and if there were unique enemies.

Poorly documented in English, and in general too. The game doesn't actually tell you how many skill points you're earning and instead just gives you a percentage.

Still, it's not BAD. It's not EXCELLENT either.

A game in which you play Elf Hitler trying to stick it up to Dark Lord Stalin. Bit short (only took me 6 hours of play and that was with a lot of wasted time) but generally pretty fun. The removal of a lot of upgrades (double finishers, the three weapon skills, focus, vault stuns, extra HP, extra arrows, most runes, etc.) made for a more difficult game... until you figure out how easy it is to recharge the One Ring and keep using it. This DLC actually has a final boss fight, and it's pretty great.

This is Dynasty Warriors except on the PC, with no online co-op, and with voice actors who have been informed Chinese names should be pronounced in Chinese. It is okay! Maybe they'll patch in support for online co-op one day, but if you like cutting thousands of men with more weapons than you can count, and with a few different play modes, it'll give you all the hours of gameplay until 9 comes out.
