Hello, everyone! I primarily play/follow a wide variety of games, mainly those of the sandbox survival, simulation, tactical shooter, and strategy genres, as well as a few oddballs! I use the name Great Hero J for every game I play, and at the end of the day I'm into some innocent, wholesome fun with friends. I look to constantly expand and refine my skillset where I have the time - as a pixel artist mainly, but also as a more general digital artist, music composer, modder, and designer. I am also interested in learning modelling, as well as both 2D and 3D animation.

I am almost always online on Discord and extremely active there, so it's probably good to be able to contact me through it. I check Discord messages far more frequently than Steam and I can respond significantly faster on Discord.

I'm an avid pixel artist and I LOVE making pixel art via Aseprite. My best work is showcased in my Newgrounds account [greatheroj.newgrounds.com], though I post most of my pixel art exclusively in other mediums such as private Discord servers - but I'd love to chat about pixel art in general or my past work! I've been experimenting with animated sprites, voxel art, and low-poly models with pixel texturing as well.

I am a minor modder for Unturned, though my modding connections and aspirations extend to other games such as Project Zomboid and RimWorld. If you'd like to check out my publicly released and completed mods from my past, this is my currently rather mediocre mod portfolio. I plan on making a lot more stuff when I find the time. I mainly supported my friends in the Unturned modding and mapmaking circles, so you might notice my name pop up in credits here and there.

Some of my public interactions with the Unturned community at large have historically been through the SDG Forums, where I was a regular, and briefly a volunteer moderator. I am a major contributor to the SDG Wiki.
