There's currently no plans to port the balancemod to the valve SDK. I simply do not have time to dedicate to learning the new SDK on my spare time.

Haven't said anything about it so i'll say it now, pretty cool dude who knows his stuff, he actually has a nice discord server and hosts fairly fun sessions of some gamemodes that are still being balanced depending on the community suggestions and stuff.
