Non-stop fun, 10/10

Have now completed NG+ and NG++. Mission variations were great in the additional new-game cycles, especially NG++ and the 'secret ending'. Secret ending boss was meh but otherwise 10/10

Closest thing to a perfect game

Played 2 games.

Both games the opponent brought their rook out instantly (weird opening but sure).

Rooks one shot every piece on my board. Now I understand...

Hated it at first, now love it. Advice to new players: level ADP immediately so it feels more like DS1 and not like you're moving in syrup.

+ Huge world, lots to explore. DS1's areas felt very familiar to me after my first playthrough whereas DS2 is on a completely different scale
+ Combat feels good once you level up, you really feel powerful once you master your build.
+ Brings in lots of new gameplay features over DS1

- The Agility System. This is most likely why new players hate it.
- SOFTS needlessly doubles the number of NPCs in some areas adding an arbitrary difficulty increase during boss run-backs for example. This is TEDIOUS and gets boring very quickly. E.g. Iron Keep will have you fight 14 enemies before the fog-gate unless you learn a perfect parkour route
- End-game bosses are far far too easy

Champion Gundyr is the best souls boss

Good game. Don't queue past 1am (GMT) or you will end up playing with very angry French people
